Ya they been slowly phasing out da female valves. No problem tho, just get sum ny fats, cut off the stems and drill it out with a 1/8" drill bit. I been doin that for couple years now since I been only using painters touch 2x cover.

This is how I modify my caps ^Heres what u need. The ink tube is out of a Gelly Roll pen. Its larger than regular pen tubes. Some Gelly Rolls are too big. You need the tube that is 11/64" in diameter. The drill bit is 1/8". Of course u also need a drill. First, Bore out the ink tube with the drill bit. Try to drill it straight. Cut off a 1/4" piece of ink tube Cut off half of the cap stem. It doesnt have to be perfect, but try to do it as straight as possible Now, slip the ink tube onto the cap stem. (It will be a tight fit) Thats it! As you can see, there is a gap between the cap and can, but the cap doesnt wiggle or move. It works great. If its too high for you, you can cut the cap stem shorter but u will need to super glue the tube on. Yesss. I know i could just use the sekt adapter, but I never buy stuff I can make at home. I had all these things laying around at home anyway. Ive used many caps like this, and even with no glue I never had one leak yet. Enjoy.:)

Caps Modified to fit on Male rusto cans-Pink Dot on Male PT 2x Left side is pink dot, Right side is banana skinny. Any regular cap can be made to fit, without the adapter. Now that rusto is changing All cans male, we can use all of our favorite caps.

Szr, the way I do it is wrap the stem of the cap with a small strip of pvc tape. I use 10 mil. If u use the thinner kind you might have to wrap it twice. It makes it fit the can real snug and it wont leak. The only thing is sometimes when you remove the cap the tape slips off and you need to re-tape it.

^ I heard those tips are designed to reduce finger fatigue. Ironically, my finger hurts after a few minutes of using it. You can use them to outline IF you really have to. Look at the white part of the cap where the hole is. You will see 2 bumps. Take a razor and scrape off the bumps JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE IT FLAT. It sprays just like a regular ny fat.
