Picked up a couple pair of Jordan Futures recently, in Black and in Gray:
Took a while for the Futures to grow on me. Real simple and sleek styles. Also very comfortable -- cushiony sole and the upper is flexible/soft. These and the Spizikes are the main non-numbered Jordans I dig.
Also like these with the glowing outsole but they're going for $450 and up on eBay:

I don't know anything about that private channel thing. Will have to look in to it.
So far I mainly use it for Netflix, YouTube, and downloaded movies on the USB stick...
Yeah, Roku supposedly has more apps/channels than any of the others. I did my research before getting a streamer and most everyone said Roku is #1.
You could always sell your Roku 2 XD and get a Roku 3, depending how much the USB feature means to you. For me it was the main selling point.
I bet Roku 4 will have voice command recognition like the Amazon Fire.

I don't know if you're talking about the ID site but if for some reason you can't click the laces, just click the list categories that run from top to bottom til you get to the laces.
Last ID's took three months.No ragrets.
They might be getting faster now... these last IDs took about 6 weeks from order to receiving.

What color is that? Crimson? Not bad.
We had discussed spizikes a while back. A lot of the older ones were nice but some of the more recent cw's have been misses.
Yeah that color is called "Solar Red" -- the same red used on the lining of the black Yeezy 2s.
Similar to Nike's "infrared" but a bit "pinker."
Which Spizikes were you talkin' about?

Anyone do any IDs? Hadn't done them in years but just got these Spike Lee Jordans in the mail:
I know people have mixed opinions on hybrids and held off on getting "Spizikes", but I like the concept of combining the 3-6s from the Mars Blackmon era. Color scheme was inspired by Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared.

Just bought a Roku 3. Best thing ever. I should have been up on these media streamers earlier. Best part is that it has a USB port so you can play any of your movies straight from the USB stick. A lot of these streamers don't have that function like Apple TV or Amazon Fire.
Highly recommended.

wow...funny i stumbled on this thread...i was actually taking a break from reading his 141 page manifesto/memoir...im on page 26.
reading the first 26 pages (ages 0-11 years old), ive come to the realization that he was a privileged little rich kid, who tried too hard to fit in and be cool (pokeman & skateboarding).
he was a very jealous spoiled little kid who admits to throwing tantrums if he didnt get what he wanted....explains why he flew off the handlebars when he couldnt get a girl.
I was thinking the same thing. He was likely handed everything in life, but didn't know that one thing a guy has to work for a little is pussy. He was shocked that women didn't just throw themselves at him on a silver platter since he was so used to having everything else handed to him in life.
Another theory was that he was gay (he seemed a little feminine) and was in denial about it, and was really just jealous of the women he saw with men and wanted to be in their position.

theo, you should hella try that vegemite...let us know what its like...i know you'd give an honest opinion.
So yeah I got to try the Vegemite this morning... Best way to describe it is that it tastes like soy sauce, but in a thicker paste form and the salty taste is stronger. It also has a slight hint of an artificial meat flavor, almost like the beef Ramen.
It's not terrible though, and I can see how it's more of an acquired taste, but it's not something I'll go out of my way to eat.
I think I wasn't too phased because I already had an idea of what to expect after hearing about other people trying it... They said it tastes similar to soy sauce. I also just put a thin layer of it on the bread and used lots of butter. A lot of Americans go into it just eating a spoonful out of the jar expecting it to taste sweet like jelly or Nutella. Nothing like it.
I don't see how one can eat this stuff for breakfast in the morning as a spread. It seems like it should be used more as an ingredient for cuisines... like for marinating fish or seasoning rice or something to add a certain flavor. Which is why I think it's more suited for things like Vegemite Pizza or whatever.
I'm going to see if I can acquire a taste for it though... I won't throw the rest of it away. Try and use it here and there.

Ha yeah I'll try it maybe tomorrow and report back... I don't keep butter in the house but I may buy some. Heard the butter makes it more tolerable.
