i have mixed feelings about johny ryan...
however on a contemporary note, Notes from a Defeatist by Joe Sacco and Apocalypse Nerd by Peter Bagge are among my favorites.

you have scabies... they get worse at night, that's when they're active. i've had them twice. i had to wear gloves because my hands were falling apart. get it taken care of now or it'll just get worse and you'll want to off yourself...
