Those train flicks are from the book "NEWYORK SUBWAY GRAFFITI" by Tod Lange. You can get it on http://www.amazon.com

This flick is dope,I like that BANISH,never seen this before. When I was a kid I used to try and see the bottom of the wall from my mothers car,but I could never see it.Stem RTW is another writer that doesn't get too much light,he had some fresh highway joints in Manhattan and the Bronx back in the 80's and early 90's.

  3. That wall up top is from 72nd street in Manhattan back in 1994.Originally it was a CES and SUB done in 1993.The SUB got ragged, and in 1994 a new production was rocked next to the CES.It was a ALOE TWK,PAE114,and KLASS TDS.Nice flick.

  4. Jean13 byb has a dope collection of nyc train flicks from the 1970's on http://www.flickr.com ,it's worth checking out.

Grand opening, grand closing, the missing pages of writing history continues............If you want the younger writers to do dope burners, inspire them with there past history. It belongs to everyone. The mentorship is in the photos now,the streets aren't blasted with pieces no more, and ain't nobody gettin' any younger with these huge photo collections.

  5. Check out this magazine called "Straight Stuntin'.I think it's done by Dez tfa.I saw the new one in NewYork and it has a section in it that has a train by Skeme and Dez that I've never seen before. The magazine will throw you off when you see the cover because it's not a graffiti magazine,it's like a stripper/niteclub/baller mag, with girls with phat asses. He has an advertisement in it for a book called "Masters Of Dezaster",but who knows when it's coming out.

  6. That dude "KARl",and the "TDC"crew did some dope trains.I always liked there lettering style and characters.I remember one time I was in the bronx doing a piece on a wall back in 1993 and this dude came up and we started talking for a minute, then he left and came back with a giant photo album with all these trains that were done by them.I was like damn!,their's alot of graf out of NewYork that people really have never seen before that was of the hook!

  7. Post some of his "AERORA" joints, like the one in Spray Can Art.That "HELL HOUSE" wall was crazy too.I didn't see it in person,I saw it in an old "On The Run" mag from like 1992.It was a "DUSTER" and I think on top of the piece it said "From NY to Hollywood" if I'm not mistaken.

If you go to metal heads check out NYC SUBWAYS,on pg.109 NYC-TRANSIT posted the ON THE RUN mag I was talking about ,but he titled it ON THE GO.The "DUSTER"hell house wall is in there,as well as other classic burners.

  8. "PAE114"-"ALOEISM"-TWK CRU,"TOTEM"TC-5,freedom tunnels 1994,you should have seen that spot back then.Pieces all over the place,on the catwalk,on the handball court, alot of writers used to rock shit down there.Newyork ain't what it used to be.
