no shit! i start there in september.

new film shibby. just got a nikon N80
diggin the first one from that batch. and the n80 was my second camera i bought, after an f10 and before my d50. it's a great film camera, took a lot of quality stuff with that guy.
MN1, what school are you thinking about going to? photo school is the reason i'm moving to chicago.

if the dude in the wheelchair is who i think it is, he used to do vox for a band called commander kc in indianapolis. during pile ons kids would literally stand on his lap.
i saw him make a girl cry because she parked in a handicap spot at a show once, it was very entertaining.

You really think Boston is less cold than Chicago? I've never been to Beantown, so I have no idea. I just did a phone interview with Harrington and I've been conditionally accepted, so Chicago is where I'm leaning right now.

So, I've finally decided to go back to school. I'm currently looking at 4 schools: Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Colorado Mountain College, Hallmark in rural Mass, and New England School of Photography in Boston. Right now I'm leaning towards Harrington, a big part of that being that it's in Chicago and I was raised a Cubs fan and love the city.
Anyone heard/know anything about any of these schools reputations or anything of the sort?

what are the boards made of? same stuff as snowboards?

a lot of the momentum is either running or spots that are downhill. i've always just worn skate shoes and haven't had much problem, but i actually think some company is making snowskate specific shoes now. and the griptape on mine, which is older, is this foam kind of stuff. a lot like what's on a wakeskate.

so i started doing this back in '02 and have every winter when i'm up visiting my dad in indiana. shit has progressed a shit ton since then though. just wondered if anyone from up north had any thoughts.
