Just got home after closing the bar, had a lot of babes drinking frozen margaritas even though the weather was rainy.....I guess it was the irony factor, we made a night of it. This girl that was DJing was so fuckin bangin, I'm tryna get her back next month for the same party. I'm about to do some drugs and drink beers while I play Red Dead Redemption on the XBOX 360 and crash out around 12 noon eastern

Look, I've been pretty outspoken about how I think this series has been officiated rather poorly(not so much here as IRL), but the irony of Doc Rivers complaining about uncalled moving screens by the Lakers is making my brain melt

just finished watching this game on DVR, stuck working at the bar all night..Ron Artest's defensive strategy for this game seems to be "run around and flail my arms around like one of those inflatable wacky-wobbler things they have in front of used car lots"
it was a three point game when the out of bounds call was reviewed and they mysteriously upheld the call, even though it was clearly off garnett. at that point, you could tell the officials were going to see to it that the series went to boston tied.

Some dude I know got iced on the Williamsburg bridge, about 2 weeks ago. We suspect it was a marketing rep cuz that was before this shameless shit started catching on. The guy was just chilling there with a bunch of them waiting for people! A girl who I bartend with brings a six pack of these things to work and has been icing br0s at the bar. My facepalm rate is sky high.

my loyalty in the WC lies with my MSU alumni, so we got JRICH vs. my boy Shannon Brown. Tough call. Lakers, for the most part, are more entertaining finals candidates than the Suns IMO

I'm pullin for the Lakers, but Grant Hill will always be one of my all-time favorite players. I was, after all, a Pistons fan during the "teal and burgundy" years(ask any Detroiter about that term, I still have a pair of the shorts)

Not to make too many excuses, but the Suns were only whistled for 12 fouls while the Lakers piled up 23. And the free throws were even steeper: Suns shot 32 while the Lakers only got 13. Thats huge.

I'm pulling for the Celtics now. I like Tony Allen's game, Paul Pierce's resilience, and the big ticket seems to be at the top of his game. Sheed has been my boy since the '04 Pistons championship(when I lived there) and Rondo is unstoppable off the pick and roll. Most entertaining matchup for the stacked Lakers squad in the finals.

yeah I'm in Brooklyn, workin tonight, we got some shitty bands opening for an awesome funk night.
Whenever bands play at my bar, nobody buys drinks while they're playing(I couldn't hear them ordering anyway) but we get the swarm as soon as they're done. It's an interesting dynamic. I probably ought to head over there soon and set up the PA and mic stands, the girl who's workin happy hour is clueless.

That would be wild. Some analysts are just saying that the market here in New York or in Chicago are reason enough, although without the domino effect he would just be walking into the same situation of a weak supporting cast(not that this year's Cavs were a weak supporting cast, but in previous years)..
