  1. First off, it's been awhile. This place looks way different. Good to see some familiar names still here.

In April I'll be in sf for 2 or 3 days, like Sunday to Tuesday or Monday to Wednesday, and I'm looking for some advice on what to do and where to stay. I'll be flying in on the prior Thursday but will be working at Laguna Seca Raceway until Sunday some time. Figured I would try to see the city and a few people while out there. Couple things on the list already, definitely trying to see alcatraz, maybe catch a show at gilman. Other than that i have no clue what to do or where to go. So what should I do? Where should i stay? Trying to stay cheap (lol right) on a room but moderately close to public transport. Trying to holler at EBPH and triple suplex if yall are around.

  2. Ive got a Bell Sweep I got on sale. As said before all helmets are as safe as each other. More money=better looks, more ventilation, less weight. But find one you like the looks of and doesn't feel all retarded and shit because you won't wear it. And always remember the Three-Point System

  3. Lame. Was it a QR clamp? Or did it seem like some kids just yanked it out. I normally take my seat and seatpost with me if im locking my bike up where i cant see it, but thats very rarely

  4. f someone is pushing their saddle forward to compensate for a longer stem, that's like newbie mistake 101 shit.

    Which is what I'm assuming.

/fitted my bike with the help of a CTS book

  5. i'm shaking my head at you for thinking that stem length somehow affects where the saddle should be. get educated.

too long of a reach so he had to bring the saddle forward to compensate? if thats wrong, whats going on?

Butt soreness is something that will go away.

  6. One of my reasons for asking is I'd like to do a group ride with my lbs at some point, I just don't want to show up and get dropped and feel like an asshole however. I'm riding a 15 year old tri bike and to be honest a bunch of dudes on $3000 carbon fiber race bikes all kitted out is a little intimidating. /nh

I can totally understand that. Call the lbs and ask about it. Theyll tell you how long it is and the average speed and route. Group rides aren't races. what I mean is their not trying to put on a ride that people dont want to go on, if that makes sense.

  7. I think thats kinda like asking if your average heartrate is the same as someone elses. That being said i was doing about what you are doing when I was riding more. I had to take a month off to take care of some shit but now thats done ill be riding more, but still less. LBS has a 30 mile winter training ride ill be doing when I can.

On that black and gold one: dude should get a shorter stem so he doesnt have to slam his saddle forward. *shakes head*

Gonna go take some pictures of my jointzZz

the single speed. Completely stock (except for the Fizik arione) Dawes SST-AL from Bikes Direct. Bar angle is retarded so that I can get along with the drops.

This is the new girl. 2011 Neuvation f100 frame set, rival RD, cheap specialized shallow drops, 130mm reynolds stem. Gonna also get a rival FD, and force crankset and shifters.
