Haha please don't tell me you work at a commissary.
For those who don't know, a commissary is the grocery store on a military base.

so i work at a big grocery store and spend alot of my time wondering the store checking out milfs or checking id's at the door.
the most weed friendly job in my opinion. and talking to some random chick every minute.

i have a flatbed scanner (epson stylus cx4800) but i can never get good quality scans and if so it needs ALOT of photoshoping to make it look descent.
ive looked into actual film scanners where you feed the film through but its really expensive.
so back to my question. whats everyones thought on sticking with film.

i own a couple film cameras one of which is a holga.
it uses 120 film and its getting really expensive to get everything developed and printed and sometimes not the way i want it to be.
does averyone else working with film here do their own processing and printing. even if its just black and white.
im contemplating on switching over to digital but i love the way film works and its results.
its just that i get my work done at photo stores. where the most customization i can do is to tell the person not to do any color correction or push/pull something.

just wondering..how many of you shooting film do your own developing and prints..??
i kinda wanna call myslef a photgrapher and show off my stuff but i feel im not qualified since i just shoot the pictures and get them developed and printed at a shop..

great pics...the only camera i have is a holga which i switch from 120 to 35 mm from time to time..i have a digital videocamera that takes digital stills but theyre crap.
just wondering if people are still into film and still recommend film..cause im planning on getting a fed5. its a russian lomo rangefinder (35mm)only $125 but extra money on film and prints and whatnot.
oh and i dont do my developing or prints..im planning on learning but there was this one lady at the film shop i talked to and she said not to waste my time because its being phased out.
opinions..???

use a brush and textile paint for the buildings and stuff.

i tried this earlier and works great if you have the controll and right mix
find one of these
then fill with latex or textile or whatever you want on your fabric
(the right mix is crucial to your success..lol)
practice like this(use water if you want so you can get used to the flares you can make witht these)
once your confident at handling the thing and you have the right mix you can do something like this..
this was experimental so the extra designs arent the greatest..haha..

thats without the calligraphy tip..you get a wider spray with it...
its with it on but adjusted so its in a line..thats as thick as i can get it..without the tip it comes out doubled..two streams..and take the rubber piece out and it doesnt work at all..
only choice (for what i have) is to modify the tip and make the hole alittle bigger..
careful though..too big and you loose pressure and you need a new one..easy to rack so no problem experimenting..
last question...theres these two different fire extinguishers at the place i go to that i can easily rack...i dont wanna take it unless i know its the right one to use..
class a b or c..???and wheres the refill pump valve thingy located to repressurize it..??

oh and the mix i use that works pretty good is 1:2
1 liter latex paint 2 liters water. so thats exactly enough to fill 2 bottles of coke..haha..so its easy to refill after you run out..
and last thing...when filling your fertilizer thingy dont fill it to the top..you wont get good enough pressure when you pump..fill like 2/3 of the way.
dont use acrylic..clogs your shit..

if you pump it up all the way you can get maybe 3 or 4 of the size you see up there^^^^
always advisable to pump before each tag so you dont loose pressure in the middle of one making it all the more shitty looking. im thinking of modifying mines and adding those air tanks for paintball guns to it so i dont have to pump...but i might as well buy the big one than go through all the trouble modifying..
if your able to get enough pressure and you mix is very like water you can get flares..very hard to get decent ones though,,
the wall behind my house soaks up water so i use that to practice..water so it disappears after 5 mins..practicing helps so you can estimate the distances and sizes of your letters and all...
