Those Xyron sticker machines are the shit! We used one of those things to make stickers of grandma's suckin' dicks through jail bars from the backs of generic porn mags. Then we put them up in the old roommates bedroom. Good times.

That's before my time but I remember seeing a few RED tags, and that was many years beyond the 80's. That says something right there. Don't know much else. There used to be one by the Greyhound station downtown, not sure if it's still there.

My two cents is that it is comparing apples and oranges. Grimy vs. pretty. They both have ups and downs, but when I think of true graffiti I think of throw-ups, tags and straight-letters. I don't really care either way though. No doubt pretty-piece 3A can use a can and 3A Seattle gets down. -ONE
