    I don't usually do resolutions either but after this year I feel like I need a reset point

    so why not a new year

     

    cliche:

    I think I may get/stay sober for a few months

    'get my shit together' hopefully get a job that allows me to move

    start working out & eating better seriously I feel like i'm 75 too many things hurt

    throw a lot of stuff out

    develop a strict work ethic / daily routine as far as creating stuff goes

    Doesn't seem like a lot of black guys are waiters. Why?

    don't know ...i think that guy might be onto something with the servitude thing

    I think I've come across more black waitresses than black waiters

    On that note I had one of the nicest waitress in a diner in miami, we tipped her nicely

     

    The black guys I know who work in restaurants are usually the chefs / back of the house

    I thought about being a waitress its a steady gig, but I hate dealing with people face to face.

    I caved in and watched it while I was hungover, couldn't watch it any other way.

    I see people like this all the time it's not just a NJ guido thing its a NE guido thing, I've heard the RI club scene's pretty awful/frightening

    I used to bartend during brunch at a busy restaurant in Manhattan. It was a nightmare, but lucrative.

     

    Everybody in that whole fuckin place was drinking either mimosas, a bloody mary, or sangria. So I had to come in super early to prep all that shit, make gallons upon gallons of bloody mary mix and sangria. And of course, the tons of garnishes for the bloodies.

     

    I've never been on the other side of the bar from brunch. It's huge in New York, every girl I know attends brunch like it's a life or death appointment. Definitely a good activity to bring your previous night's conquest to show off, or to balance out a hangover with a breakfast cocktail. I'll have to try it sometime when I don't sleep til 4pm.

     

    yup Brunch on Saturdays or Sundays are a big deal here

    Last large brunch we got about 15 people, rounds of double bloody mary's & mimosas

    regrets regrets regrets on Monday morning

     

    but that was a damn good brunch, all I need is a really strong bloody mary + eggs + home fries

    mmm mmm

     

    My peoples use to throw a Sunday brunch in the summer, complete with dj's & a sitting area

    club, brunch, more drinks, me and the drunk girl or two dancing then back to the club or boat

    In my experience, I've noticed white suburban people are way more into this shit than anywhere else, and I live in a big city. Any of you notice the same?

    yeah oxy's & hbomb are apparently real bad out here right now

    (I blame it on major boredom, having money, parents leaving their scrips around, crooked doctors $, monkey see monkey do social circles)

    Since I don't hang out here and don't really know anyone

    I only notice the junkies walking around the mainstreet, gas station, coming into the cafe, and getting hired/fired by my retarded bosses.

    Almost got caught up in it (I know i'm in trouble when I like something too much) but I'm sooo cheap and pills are too expensive and its a real lame way to die like if i'm going to pick it endos are not the way i'm going to do it.

    I was feeling a little tiny bit bad for dude until I saw that bike...that bike

    There's no way I'm riding my bike with my gear in it and if I'm traveling with expensive stuff you better believe it's going to look very very low key

    I read the first post not the rest

     

    but I don't know any white jokes (not stand up but the kind of jokes that get repeated and passed around)

    I think the only people that do are maybe old Native Americans and old black cowboys and blues dudes that look like bb king

    I bet Native Americans have some pretty good ones
