what I saw recently and really liked was photos and drawings steming off of them. A coop idea bringing photography to drawing. Looked pretty cool to me.

It's a painting from a photo of my dad at actually 16 years old.
Ussually I hate doing anything much from photos but this was the only way and I just made up shading for colors without much from the photo.

I go for the traditional method, I think Alex Ross is a good example.

I like acrylics but just haven't used 'em that much.
I like the dog a lot, with it's warm and cool tones.
Ckit- I think the one your talking about was a brush (round 1) and ink.
