Yeah, that was some really sad news about Marco Simoncelli, one of the most exciting riders in MotoGP since Rossi's heyday.
Very talented guy and so young. Massive tragedy.
Really not that interested in watching the video, I didn't see it at the time and I don't want to.
In other news, I passed my CBT which in Britain means I can ride anything up to 125cc.
Had to ride around central London on a Honda CG125 and prove my competency.
In the market now for a cheap 125 which is cool and sexy.
Any ideas?
Going to give it a year of riding the 125s till I go for my big bike licence.

Last night there were only 6,000 cops out there and they were run ragged the whole night.
Basically these looters have realised that they can get away with whatever they want and the police wont be able to do anything as long as they all do it at the same time in different areas of London.
Tonight there are going to be 16,000 police out there, so hopefully they will be intelligently deployed and in enough numbers to hold it down.
There was a point on the news last night where this dude was in Clapham at about 1:30am and there were just crews of thugs kicking in shops and stealing shit, and there were no police anywhere, so they just carried on. There were cars of older heads booting it around directing the mob where to go to get next shops and so on.
Shit is fucking crazy out of control.
The police have basically got to ramp it up tonight and tear gas motherfuckers till there is no one left.
Talking on the news about using rubber bullets to control crowds. Good. They deserve that shit.
Baton rounds or 'rubber bullets' are no fucking joke. They are supposed to bounce them off the ground but sometimes they dont.

I have been sitting here drinking wine and watching this shit on tv.
The young 'thug' population of London has basically gone completely feral and decided to take over the streets in most of the shittier areas of london. Building barricades and burning everything in sight.
It started on saturday night in Tottenham, with buses, cop cars, houses, buildings getting smashed and burned, then they started looting all the local shops and larger electrical outlets.
Tonight it has spread to 4 areas of london with kids taking on the police and burning cars and looting.
Nothing near my gaff thank fuck. Anyone starts any shit round here and all the middle class residents will go to bed. Yeah, Im a baller.

I used to work in the film industry before it became apparent that the British film industry is the biggest joke going. No money, no desire to invest any money, no love. Being a 2nd AC for 3 years for jobs averaging no fucking money is not fun or inspirational. Tiresome world run by idiotic producers who have no money and dont care about paying up even when they do. Slaves are more expensive than british film crews.
Fuck that world.
