For the most part i think Disney will keep their hands out of the (comic)books and other Marvel mediums, such as Movies, etc... if anything Disney will probably add some kick ass rides at their amusement parks after they have Universal put a stop to theirs. Disney has put out No Country, Doubt, Kill Bill 1 & 2, among others. I highly doubt they'll stick their hands in like Fox normally do. Like i said, IF anything, a possible team-up between Marvel & Pixar is pretty exciting. Plus, more possibilities of TV Shows, DTV, etc...

Wow.
In a truly surprising Monday morning development, The Walt Disney Company announced that it has purchased Marvel Entertainment for the whopping price of $4 billion. According to the press release, "Disney will acquire ownership of Marvel including its more than 5,000 Marvel characters." Robert Iger, President of Disney said the deal combines "Marvel's strong global brand and world-renowned library of characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Captain America, Fantastic Four and Thor with Disney's creative skills, unparalleled global portfolio of entertainment properties."
This obviously has a big impact on the future of the Marvel characters. As of now Marvel partners with Universal Studios and their "Islands of Adventure" including rides based on Spider-Man and Hulk. And obviously Marvel has a number of movies in development at studios other than Disney. I don't believe we'll see any big impact on either in the near future but what it means further down the line remains to be seen.
This news is still developing so as we learn more (and what it means to the future of Marvel), we'll update this story accordingly. For now, if you're interested, you canread the full press release here [http://www.marketwatch.com/story/disney-to-acquire-marvel-entertainment-2009-08-31-9050].
UPDATE - On the shareholder conference call, Disney said that all current and future film deals that were negotiated by Marvel will stay in place. They feel those deals were well developed and Disney has no intentions of trying to reclaim any of those properties for their film unit. For the time being. They do believe that it is "in our best interest if over time we ended up as the sole distributor of these theatrical release films."
UPDATE 2 - When asked about the possibility of a Marvel/Pixar team up, it was revealed that John Lasseter met with the key creative staff at Marvel last week and everyone got "pretty excited very fast." They said there is a "definite opportunity" for that kind of collaboration and that "exciting products" will c ome from that partnership. -
nah, i wanna hear some moaning and screaming.

Ive got the news item of the year right here. ScriptShadow has gotten a look at the script for Darren Aronofsky’s latest film, BLACK SWAN. It’s a dark and introspective tale that follows blah blah blah skip ahead. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis have sex.
Yeah. You read that right. And not just nice sweet innocent sex either. We're talking ecstasy-induced hungry aggressive angry sex. Yeah so...this movie is already on the must-see list of 2010. But how good is it? Does the story that surrounds the sex disappoint or excel?”
Yup.
The reviewer goes on to talk about how the script showcases a nuanced filming style that drags a bit in the middle, but was all around a worthwhile read. Oh, but did I mention that Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman have hungry aggressive angry sex?
I’m sorry, I’ll have to follow the intricacies of the plot on a different day, because I can’t get out of my head combining the image at the top of this article with the one at the bottom. Using only your imagination, you have to say that without a doubt this will be a scene for the ages. They might have to make a new Oscar category.
You now have two options, you can head over to ScriptShadow for the full review of the script, or you can head over to Moviehotties for Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis photo galleries. The choice is yours. Don't let this picture influence you.
