Holy fuck this movie was awful. The scenery and cinematography were cool. The score was terrible, the acting was wooden. Felt like a bad 1980’s made for tv movie.

It'll be on Max soon enough, I believe they are the exclusive streaming home for A24. I think it's a movie that needs to be seen in a theater tho, just for the score alone. The sounds of the gunshots are scary. The needle drop on Say No Go was fucking epic. @misteraven

Jesus fucking Christ. 10/10. Fucking intense.

I can understand the appeal, it’s nicely shot and filled me with a sense of nostalgia. Felt very surface level “let’s make the perfect indie coming of age movie” that you see in a lot of films like this. Would have loved for there to be some genuine character development as they kept going. That being said teen/early 20 me would have loved this film.
