  1. most of my friends love vegas.

but i havent been in years when i went to the AVN expo.

it's alright for a weekend getaway maybe from LA.

but i personally wouldnt make it a destination.

perhaps make it one part of a larger vacation.

include grand canyon, los angeles, lake tahoe, or other "local" areas.

  2. good luck dude. im guessing he's more interested in skate shops that migh be open to including some graff and dance stuff more than graff and dance stores exclusively.

one question. if i remember correctly from the day in pics thread or somewhere you mentioned you never were a writer just a admirer or something like that. if so its kinda weird to me to be involved business wise in it.

  3. BAKERSFIELD - A Bakersfield boy will likely be blind after police say his father bit out one of his eyes and mutilated the other.

After 34-year-old Angel Vidal Mendoza Sr. allegedly attacked the boy, police say Mendoza rolled his wheelchair outside and began hacking his legs with an ax.

Four-year-old Angelo Mendoza told police, "my daddy ate my eyes."

The boy's mother was not home at the time.

Officials with Child Protective Services declined to comment on the case.

Mendoza, under $1 million bond, is charged with mayhem, torture, child cruelty and inflicting an injury to a child. The incident happened April 28, and a hearing is set for May 20.

sucks but that quote had me rollin' "my daddy ate my eyes".

  4. Big story in local paper.

EL Monte cop kicks prone suspect after pursuit EL MONTE - The police officer who sources inside City Hall say kicked a gang member in the head after a long car chase Wednesday also owns a clothing company that glorifies gang and prison life.

In addition, court records show the officer, George Fierro, has filed a lawsuit against the El Monte Police Department alleging he has been passed over for promotions because he reported suspected criminal behavior by fellow officers.

A news video shows the officer, identified as Fierro, kick El Monte Flores gang member Richard Rodriguez, 23, in the in head after a half-hour chase.

Rodriguez was subsequently arrested for parole violations and evading arrest. He is being held without bail at Men's Central Jail, according to county records.

Fierro did not return messages left at two telephone numbers Thursday.

El Monte Councilwoman Emily Ishigaki declined to discuss the incident, but said Thursday Fierro has been a good officer.

"He is well experienced, and he is very talented," she said.

Fierro is listed as the owner of Torcido Clothing (http://www.torcidoclothing.com) of El Monte, according to records at El Monte City Hall. "Torcido" is slang for being imprisoned.

The Torcido Clothing company "features some of the hardest authentic jail house threads for the streets. Straight from East L.A., Califas ..." according to its Web site.

Selling clothes about gang or prison life is "completely inconsistent" with behavior expected from officers, said Jay Wachtel, a Cal State Fullerton ethics instructor in the criminal justice program.

"I can't possibly imagine a law enforcement officer selling clothes that glorify gang activity," he said.

On Torcido's Web site, shoppers can buy a T-shirt emblazoned with "186.22," the section of the state's criminal code that gives more prison time to people who commit a crime related to street gang

This logo appears on a t-shirt sold on torcidoclothing.com. The number refers to the penal code section for gang crimes. The period in the shirt is a bullet. activity.

Another shirt has "L.A. County Jail" on the front. Another has "Dept. of Corrections P-Bay Segregated Housing Unit," which refers to the Pelican Bay State Prison unit where leaders of the Mexican Mafia are housed.

"Officers are supposed to be the example for citizens to follow," Wachtel said. "Officers are expected to behave off duty in a way that brings credit on their departments."

Fierro has been on the force for 15 years, and on May 18, 2008 he filed a civil complaint against the police department and its leadership.

In the complaint, Fierro alleges he suffered reprisals because he reported unethical behavior of fellow officers.

Fierro was "passed over for virtually every promotion or permanent specialized assignments," according to the complaint.

In 1999, Fierro reported that an El Monte police officer discharged her gun outside a pub in Diamond Bar, according to the suit. The officer was sentenced to probation and was no longer allowed to carry a gun.

In the complaint Fierro alleges his superior, Lt. George Hopkins, wanted to "ring plaintiff's neck" for reporting his fellow officer, according to the suit.

Fierro applied for eight jobs during the next three years, but he did not get any of them, according to the complaint.

Then in 2003, Fierro reported that a detective forced a man to consent to a search under threat of arrest, according to the suit.

He applied for several more promotions, but he did not get any of them, according to the suit.

He is seeking damages, back pay for the positions he did not get, attorney fees and litigation fees. The case is scheduled to go to trial on Sept. 8 in Pomona Superior Court.

  5. niggas need to move out of the stix.

my service has been great. other than when driving through the hills on the way home where no one has signal. went to yosemite and had signal out there.

one problem not sure if its phone or service related was call going through but sounding robotic. had to recall 3 times to get a legit voice.

  6. You dudes have no idea how close I was to this incident and location.

I was there minutes after dude got the boot. I didnt even know he ran past that area or that he got a boot. I know a sheriff there and was talking to her when the EMPD dudes were there. They were clueless as fuck.

On a side note. The way I look at it, if you run from the cops expect to get a couple sucker punches, caved in faces, broken ribs etc. More so being some gangster dude with gangface tattoos thats flashing gang signs to cops as he's being chased.

    pistol/no pig

  7. Some dude at work just passed from brain cancer. He had multiple operations and chemo and radiation but it went started growing deeper into his brain and then became terminal. Dude was in his 40's and working up until about a month ago.

Driving nails and building shit to 30 days later and being dead. Crazy.

It sucks cause my nephew goes home after chemo but only lasts a couple days there.

He turns neutropenic and develops a fever so he has to go back to the hospital for about a week. So he really misses home. Since he has to go back for the next round of chemo.

Also his next round of chemo is going to be at CHOC. So he'll have access to peer groups and stuff.

This last round of chemo really fucked him up. Hard to see him go through it at the hospital.

  8. nice double pee shot. to compete with earmuffs OG dump at home depot shot. /nh

whats dope about this thread is most of the flicks are still showing up from 08 or 07 whenever it was started.

also for the record it's NOT pervin' or anything else IT'S "Perveract" or maybe "Perveractin".

    OG's know the deal.

shoutout to tesseract, go get them pirates man /nh

nah but for reals stay safe if you read this.

  9. even the 'good cancers' are scary when it comes on or near the spine.

best of luck to your homie beltoleum.

also for the record my little nephew is 19. little to me.

he was gonna go to CHOC across the freeway but there was no room for a person of his age with this type of cancer for a study out there. but this place is pretty awesome except for one nurse that took 2+ hours to come see him after he paged her trying to deal with 10+ pain level.

it sucks a little cause he could have been around alot of kids around his age up to 21 to help him/each other deal with issues unique to young adults.

The doc that is looking after my nephew has his own website for young adults and kids with cancer. This Dr. is supposed to be the shit when it comes to cancer pwning.

The website is www.seventyk.org if anyone would like to check it out for themselves or loved ones.

  10. I can't remember who started the original. Hopefully everythings going good for him and his family.

Anyways i'm here on the oz at the hospital with my little nephew.

He's on his second cycle of chemo.

My sis had been staying here every night but finally went home for 2 days to spend time with my neice. So im gonna spend the next two nights here.

Found out earlier this month he had a tumor pressing up against his spine which was causing pretty bad pain since last Septemberish.

There were three possiblities of 'C' it could have been.

    A superbad no hope one.

A medium one with some hope.

And a third that responds well to chemo.

    Biopsy showed the third.

It's still very serious since nerves and spinal cord are involved also very painful.

I spent the night after the biopsy and it was so fuckin' hard to see him in that much pain, squirming, wincing, sweating etc. and not being able to do anything. Even the nurse felt horrible cause she had to wait for the doc's ok to give more diloted? or put him back on the drip.

Anyways this cancer shit fucking sucks. And symbols needs to invent cures in the lab, lance needs to heal up and start pwning again, and obama needs to start spending war money on stem cells or whatever will help destroy cancer.

My family has been fairly good at avoiding cancer.

Although my nina/godmother died of breast cancer when i was little.
