MIKE PATTON

Discussion in 'Channel Zero' started by professor poopatronic, Aug 19, 2001.

  1. who else loves this guy? for those who don't know, he is the genius behind bands like mr. bungle, faith no more, and fantomas. it's like avant-garde rock type stuff. i really recommend checking some of this shit out. fantomas is on tour right now promoting their (awesome) new album. go see them. you will be amazed.

is fantomes the 'directors cut' group or whatever its called? dude is great. but just to clarify, faith no more had a couple albums out before he joined. they werent very good, but they were out.
having said that, im back to jocking mike. dude is fucking great. not so good live though, he screams a bit too much, which sucks, cause his voce is incredible.
current favorite is 'ashes to shes'

i used to have his solo albums that came out on
john zorns label(tzadik)..........all voice and fx.
although jaap blonk's all voice stuff is better, pattons is
    still pretty interesting.

He signed the Melvins to his label so he gets the thumbs up icon.
I also liked Mr. Bungle and Fantomas.
