Guest imported_Tesseract
So a friend handed out to me a CD full of software, among others Norton antivirus and Norton Utilities was there. Got back home, installed a bunch of rare shit and the norton package. I hadnt had any protection and the computer is pretty old that i got into a 'fix'em all' hysteria....I checked for viruses ran all types of scans, system operation configurations...and NORTON DISC DOCTOR.....i was 'fixing' stuff for a couple of hours..endless reboots and when the dialogue box that said that there are invalid names that dont much the DOS names...i pressed "fix" Good ole doctor suggested to insert a clean floppy in order to create undo files and, like a cautious kid, i did... The thing is that my windows use foreign language content, i'm eurotrash, and norton replaced all names of files to jibberish symbols PLUS erased all the shortcuts i had PLUS created a whole new directory like "&*%$$óáä" where "Programs" was...I freaked out and used the undo disks...the second undo file worked...the first one-a full 1,4MB disc- had a bad sector...and guess what??? UNDO CANT BE DONE...wooohooo So the computer aint fucked up and all stuff are still accesible using fucked up dos names and it looks that i'll spend tomorow on renaming the whole fucking system....party time ..Kids dont try this at home

Abracadabra
NEVER USE NORTON i know it's a bit late now, but no matter what you do, do not - i repeat - do not use any norton package on your computer unless you are prepared for a skull cracking headache.
