jakepaints Posted August 10, 2004 Share Posted August 10, 2004 thanks for that. and no, i never tried google, too lazy/stupid? a question though, i havent had bitorrent for that long, and it seems like a week after i got it, my computer got about 6 viruses and my spyware thing found about 40 spyware programs on my computer. everythings under control now, my nigga norton kicked their asses, but could i have gotten all that shit from bittorent? JohnnyHorton Posted August 10, 2004 Author Share Posted August 10, 2004 getting a virus FROM bittorrent is unlikely ... but getting a virus from someone that had the virus to begin with is more likely I only download music never apps ... so ... that keeps me pretty safe to be sure just run a virus scan after every successfull download ... that'll narrow it down and also ... are you using another filesharing method?
