I am unable to see how that last pictue relates to skateboarding or skate graphics.

A note to all, be careful of sending in your artwork to skate companies, cuz they will steal your art or ideas. Some companies are legit and righteous, but some aren't. Make sure your stuff is documented as your own and copyrighted.

Most skateboard companies are now using a heat transfer method to apply graphics and the transfers are printed CMYK style (with losts of tiny dots like a cereal box or whatever). While this allows for incredible colors, photos, and even the appearance of texture and brush strokes, it also is a mark that the screenprinting era of skate graphics is coming to a close.

Support Consolidated! Great guys, and a really down-to-earth company. They led the battle against Nike's original attempt to take over the skate shoe market.... and won! Don't Do It!
