I don't know how good he is, I havn't really seen any of your friends stuff. But the reason why he shouldn't write Spie is because someone already writes Spie who has put in a lot of work and is part of the Bay Area graffiti history. It's a respect issue. He is. And it does matter. He got pretty famous with that name. He made that name well known. It's as if some one decided to write Giant or Twist. Everyone knows that basically every name has been taken by someone, but when it comes to a name that someone has made pretty well known already, it's sort of off limits. Ya understand?
