My Sunday benching started out slow and I thought I would only get a couple of good shots but, on the spur of the moment I decided to check a bench that I don't shoot often. A train stopped there giving me a great chance to shoot some flicks with the graffiti and the fall foliage of Utah. I'll be posting these as the week goes on but first I'll post the few that I got at my main bench. I have a couple of flicks that are unique (IMHO) that I'm sure that you guys can add more info on and educate me a little more on the art of train graffiti. The one I believe you can educate me on is the first couple that shows something new to me. This is what I believe to be graffiti on the inside of a car? This to me goes against what graffiti is all about which is to put art and your tags out for everyone can see? What purpose does this art serve? Please educate me on this one. The last couple of flicks are a little Halloween candy, I added one of the 12oz Prophet's stickers to my Halloween display.

Love the color palette on a lot of these cars.

Not likely, UP put in to have that pulled ASAP
You are of course correct One Man Banned, it was gone today.

Apparently those engines are being stored in the desert due to low coal demand right now. Note rail beast is an entire train of engines.
Very nice indeed, I'll have to sing out on my way to work and see if it's still there and if I can get some better shots of it.

Google image search 'rail beast.' Not without controversy, I will assume it was done on one of UP's many storage spots for engines, away from boxcars, graffers, and hobos, I hope.
Thanks for the info One Man Banned I did a search and saw some cool ass art, this is the first one I've seen "live".

I was given some 12OzProphet stickers and of course I had to (Zapp) my toolbox first. Zapping is what we call it in the Air Force when you put your unit sticker on another units aircraft, here's and example. Some will even take to the night to zapp other aircraft much like a writer takes to the night to do his work, here's two A-10 guys zapping an F-16 com door. I also got a few different pieces this morning.

next thing you know its negative ten degrees.
True but that's one good thing about Utahs weather, it will change again in a few months and you never get too bored with the same thing.

Halloween is a favorite holiday so I do decorate quite a bit. As always thanks for the info One Man Banned this is the first one I seen on the inside and the car was parked with the door open and not hooked to a train.
