  1. Xena, sounds like improper mix... latex is trash for spraying through most anything. Had to take my sprayer apart and remove some of the internals in the tip and clean them to get it to flow correctly. Second try I added some "flow additive"(dish soap works too), mixed the paint to the consistency of milk (airbrush trick) and went for it. On a full pump sprayed 3 sides of a shipping container. Gurgling noise generally means one of your seals is not seated, either on the tube coming out of the side or on the screw top..
  2. Clean em all, came from the school of cutting Krylon tips and gluing on whatever else I could to make the lines, flares I wanted.....when I see em in a yard....grabbed, Mine! -Chuck em in a 1 gallon can of Acetone, let em sit, brush em clean, guitar wire for the tip and they're back to life. Stubborn ones get the graff remover treatment then back in Acetone. -Been working on a boombox, super gluing the stock ones to it...take a few off everytime i do a new mop and use them for mixers Oh and TCE...was developed as an anasthetic only to be used later as a degreaser.....so inhaled, you would fly...
  3. Google "reverse glass painting"...it's what my dad tried to get me into to get me off the streets and doing something "legit"...crazy when you first start doing it because you have to think/paint in reverse but.. if you look at the old sign work (think 1800's/Victorian), most shop signs were done that way because they lasted longer..
