  1. nasty simples. although Thats the throwie i love 2 bomb.

the R is fucked. And I really like the Yellow old english variation...gonna work with that

in the last one you might wanna work on the v it looks a lot like a j

but thats just my "toy" cents

posting some soon probably im still straight shit

  2. im not one to give crits. but craz-e, the E is wack along with the C. it might look better if you actually color in the backdrop and do a outline after. maybe revisit your SIMps because the last ones you posted were really thin and awkward looking(if i remember correctly)

    -lykeomgz

thanks but recheck my last additions theyre deff not thin

  3. my throwies are complete garbage. the absolute worst part of my writing. first i put off learning them all together but i badly need help. i do look at the throwies thread but dont want to bite off anything too badly. i can already crit the one i am about to post considering i did it quick just to get a general idea

  4. i'm grounded for the next month cuz my parents found out about some adderall i took... and then about some times i got drunk... so uh, i can't get on the comp as often but when i do i hope i'll be posting a shitload cuz i can't really do anything else...

    haha BA with the Addreall.

  5. Yeah I know this will be closed but you have to admit its pretty weak to close that topic. I mean are you trying to save yourself embarrassment on here? There are no real grounds to close it but to prove your unwillingness to accept freedom of speech and your apparent support of silencing those with differing opinions from you.

I even noted my pessimism on getting word from Cornbread. I just thought it was a possibility because some nobody's talked to him. I mean you didn't even comment on what I said. I guess you couldn't conceive a half-intelligent rebuttal in your favor.

Have fun being a pompous ass. I'll let you know of my future success because even if I don't break into film I'll have a decent life.

  6.

    2. you're in junior high, you have zero chance of interviewing cornbread, let alone any up writer.

    3. graffiti documentaries have been done to death, and honestly, i have very little faith in your abilities to make the next style wars or infamy. choose a different subject.

perhaps you should start working on a script instead.

well read closer next time, first of all I'm a junior in high school not jr. high.

Cornbread isn't exactly a prosperous guy. I mean I have mad respect for him but its just the truth. He's pretty down to earth and from evidence of a video on youtube, some kids probably 2-3 years older than me had an uncut interview with him (8-9 min long) at some art show (probably in Philly)

It doesn't matter if its done to death, its a god damn school project on something which I have interest in. I'm not entering in to Cannes. Plus, did I say anything about making the next Style Wars.

Don't comment on something you now little about, such as student film.

I have experience in camera and editing. They aren't pivotal points in a documentary if they are not amazing. They are necessary but not make or break if they are mediocre.

  7. well its gonna be used for a high school project also but also as my entrance film.

but i mean i think its reasonable. id probably keep it more informative then taking a side.

and also i think gettin in contact with cornbread will be difficult. any help ?

  8. I am trying to go to film school, really bad. I am a junior in high school now I gotta start working on my entrance film.

So, Im considering make a short of Graffiti. I wanted to know if you ppl think it would work and how likely it would be to get interviews from good writers? (like prolific ones) I'm in the Philly area so I was gonna look into getting in contact with cornbread, base, and some others but idk if anyone would even give a shit to help me.

    any advice, help?

    thanks

  9. I love seeing handstyles. (especially the real philly shit)

but my friend thinks its not artistic at all. is it general accepted as being artistic by writers? im pretty sure it should be because its just nice as shit.

my friend is more into pieces but our friends are mostly toy and he is more toy than me. so everytime i talk about writing i hesitate to say "we're too new to be doing pieces" he did one piece that looks nice from a toy perspective but im sure ppl here would shoot it down.

    but anyway....so handstyle: art/not?
