Actually, Revise is a very well known and respected Chicago artist...I'm going to take a wild guess and say that these classes are made available via grant dollars or some non-profit....either way, he's giving back to the community and I'd rather have someone like that in my city than some elitist pretentious asshole.

  2. death is a part of life.. and grieving is a part of healing...

me personally ill never "move on" .. just like i dont move on from my real friends that are still with us..

rip 42 forever, i miss u dog.. every blunt i smoke i imagine u there... tryin to stunt... like yo daddy.. ha.. peace faust.

You summed it up well son...

If anything, after his passing I took a loooooong look at myself and thought about how I could emulate Fausto. That kid was on top of his game 24/7...He worked two jobs, attended one of the top universities in the state, would meet us at the spot for a few beers and to pull some dimes, and he still had enough in the tank to paint some cleans later that night...Always to the fullest. That little nigga raised the bar in my opinion and through this tragedy Ive come to realize that I cant waste my life obsessing over bullshit...Life is shorter than you think homies.

    I miss you little dagg

  5. i just played left 4 dead. i dont know if there is a story mode, i just played the multiplayer thing on the computer.

    fucking awesome.

24/7 son! But I play it on Xbox. Co-op online is the shit when you have players that know whats up...It sucks that there isn't a story mode though.

  6. Great turnout last night despite the fact that it was a Sunday night (Head count at one point was around 70+).

Thanks to everyone that came out and/or spread the word. It was an honor and a pleasure to have been joined by the Manzera family.

We had such a great vibe going in that place...At one point I heard someone say

"We have crews in here that have a long history of beef, united for one cause. Why can’t it always be like this?"

Out of the corner of my eye I kept seeing a sharply dressed fresh faced young man wearing a fitted...

He kept raising his drink at me and every time I turned to salute back he would disappear....Cheers Fausto!

    42 Forever

  9. I dont recall saying anything about "freaking out"...just posting this because

a.) Its a global health concern that has been CONFIRMED in the city and surrounding suburbs.

b.) Some members on this board have children that attend CPS where there has already been 1 confirmed case in a public school.

c.) Some of us on this board come from/live in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood or have families that still live in said neighborhoods...its no secret that people who have recently immigrated to the US live in these same neighborhoods thus putting us and our families at risk...

Flame away if you like son but some of us actually have lives in the real world...

  10. Totally unrelated but CBS is reporting 9 cases of that influenza in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Those of you who have contact with numerous people at work make sure you thoroughly wash your hands and change clothes before you have contact with family members...especially those that have children.

Of the nine cases, five are in the City of Chicago, two are in Kane County, and one each are in Lake and DuPage counties, said Illinois Department of Health Director Dr. Damon Arnold. He specified Elmhurst and Geneva as two suburbs that were affected, and said they range in age from 6 to 57, but declined to give more specific details

Among the city infection victims, three live on the North Side, two on the South Side, Chicago Department of Public Health Director Dr. Terry Mason said.

The North Side patients include a 12-year-old girl who is now hospitalized, a 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old man. The South Side patients are a 35-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman.

The only case about which additional information is that of the 12-year-old, who is a student at the Kilmer School in the Rogers Park neighborhood. The Chicago Public Schools closed the school as a precaution, and it will remain closed for at least two days
