    I almost choked to death last night....

    So me and 12oz's own Hydrogen Peroxide were grabbing a burger before we hit the bar, and I feel a piece get lodged in my throat. I drink some beer to try and wash it down but it just sits there in my throat and I realize I can't breath. I start motioning to him that I'm choking and I think he thought I was joking until I kind of threw up a little bit of foamy beer. He asks me if I'm seriously choking and I nod, asks if I need the Heimlich and I nod, so we both stand up and he just cranks on me and I just feel everything just whoosh down my throat. It's a good job he was there and new what he was doing because the twinks working the counter just stood there watching and would clearly have been no help at all. We both remained remarkably calm throughout and the whole thing started and ended within about 30 seconds. Then we got drunk. Just thought I'd share because it's only now just sinking in that I could have very easily died last night. So thanks HP.

    You only need to go to college if you plan on having a career that requires you have a college degree in that field. You can't just walk in to an engineering job or something straight out of high school. But if you want to say own your own record store or be a photographer or something, you just need a basic understanding/talent in the field and work your way up.

     

    The problem I think lies in the pressure that college is the be all end all and it forces kids to make rash decisions about their future. None of my friends and I went to college straight out of high school, and I think we're all better off as far as actually enjoying our life than some of the other people I knew who are all stuck in some shitty corporate job working 9-5 with 10 days vacation a year being shit on by their boss. In fact, now that I think of it, I don't think I have a single friend who actually graduated college, and those that did go, myself included, dropped out because we realized it's not worth getting in to thousands of dollars worth of debt to do something that our hearts really weren't in to.

    Props ot the dude, The airlines treat people like shit, and the attendants and people like them, customer service folks, catch the brunt of it. Shoulda stabbed dude first.

     

    Customer service people catch the brunt of abuse from the customers, not the company. Like I said earlier I deal with flight attendants on a daily basis and majority of them are prissy little primadonnas who think they and they alone are the sole reason an airline exists and always throw gigantic tantrums that, case in point, often have hilarious results. They are bettered only by pilots in "holier than thou" douchiness.

    shows cast is kind of flawless to me. except

    for fucking jesse. that nigga coulda toned shit

    down a few notches..wayy too many horrible one liners.

    wayyy too many...show win. all around.

     

    I agree with this. Some of Jesse's dialogue is pretty poorly written. I like his character but some of the things he says sound stupid. It's like what my parents think young people talk like.
