visit brooklyn, better yet, williamsburg, brooklyn. wolves and owls on every other person. with that said i do indeed have a wolf head, and it's bad ass. also, wolves have been in flash sheets along with the rest of the classic tattoo images. they've just become more popular in the past few years maybe?
i think steve boltz said it best in one of dan santoro's tattoo age episodes when it comes to owls, though. something like people wanting to get owls on their chests and he says "why dont you just get a fucking eagle?"

I've got a burning church tattoo that I got in '08.
I know I'm not a special unique individual with some sort of incredible original ideas,
but that said,
I'm still kinda bummed I keep seeing more and more burning church tattoos.
I'll be especially sad if a burning church becomes the new "neat owl tattoo"-and from some of the comments in this thread its looking like that might be the case.
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH, 2008 aint even that long ago!!!! Fuuuuck. Oh well.
Although, for the record,
I'd get a "neat owl tattoo" any day of the week if KOH did it.
...a few changes to make it applicable. the only problem is burning church tattoos have always been awesome and will always be, even shitty stick and poke ones from "satanic" crusty weirdo types.

getting tattooed by dan santoro on tuesday, will try to post pics. got a new job and i think i'll finally be able to start consulting with him about starting a sleeve and maybe some large scale work. needless to say, i'm excited.
