perfunctory i got hurt on my fixed gear story followed by perfunctory your fault for riding a fixed gear response. good show. finally saw mash. better than maca in my opinion. but thats separating the pepper from the fly shit.

HECK no rubbish. looking at velonews bikes and tech is on the im-bored-at-work queue, and i noticed hincapie and boonen dont have super record on their bikes. personally i would take record 10 over the 11 speed generation, but then performance and efficiency are not my top priorities. although i was raised a campa snob i would probably fit a new bike with sram. but thats a lot of hypotheticals.

road racers, it appears most of the pros are riding record 11 rather than super record 11. why not use the top of the line? any ideas?

70s again today! warm nights even. shakaholler!

my day: take the snow tires off the funbike. ride to the cafe my ex works at and get an omelette and these killer donuts they make. ride back home, got some stuff together. ride to the el. ride the el into the city. ride up to daley plaza and wait for a friend. meet friend and wait for another. ride with friends down to northerly island to meet a fourth. chill along the edge of northerly. ride up to the aquarium to meet a fifth. ride back to northerly for a few beers along the lake. split ways with two and ride into bridgeport with the remainder. after hanging in bridgeport ride up to ukranian village. meet up with a few other people. spin down western back to the blue line home. when the sun shines in chicago you gotta take advantage.

right now i have an eye open for a project to wrap a sram rival group into.

yeah, O at the fixfixfix needs to start being a little more selective with the womens and the bikes IMHO. the hits are much less frequent than the misses.

loosen the bolt at top of stem until it sticks up a bit. whack it with a rubber mallet or a 2x4 or something. wiggle the stem out with your hands whilst pinching the bike between your knees. that oughta free it up. when putting the replacement stem in put some grease in the steerer tube and between the stem and the wedge (at the bottom of the stem). hope that helps.

reminds me of a BMC. which certainly isnt a bad thing.

side bewb. more fixfixfix

internal cable routing can be such a fucking pain. trek TTXs are the absolute worst. there is a hole at the head tube and one at the bottom bracket. but inbetween is just a void, no channels. we have spent hours taking turns at the shop fishing around with a spoke trying to pull the cable through. plenty of curses have been spent on internal routing.

fun in the sun. might be the last season for this frame.
