  1. Thanks for the flix and words of encouragment. I pretty happy with my throwie right now so I'm going to stick with it. Maybe one day it will evolve, who knows. So I guess I'll rock the new work and see how it flies.
  2. My new and improved throwie! what do you guys think? yeh im back to the craptacular scanner...oh well.
  3. kinda evolved though im not sure I'd call it a throw up anymore And yeh I do know my 3d is a bit messed up, particularly bottom part of the "g" but the whole thing was just a quick sketch anyway. Good news is I found a better scanner in my house!
  4. Looked in the pitts thread didnt find anything. I googled him and found some pieces. I sorta see what your saying, but our "g"s are pretty different. I made the ballstached "g" look 20 times better. I will post the finished product once I work out my "z" problem.
  5. Dude you read my mind I hate the "Z" too. I guess thats what I'm doing all day....haha.....I wouldn't mind making the "G" like I had that first one, though less testicular, and more liquid like my original drawings, and if I could somehow make the "O" have more style I would love that. Huh. I guess I dont like my throwie....damn...well back to the lab. Btw I've never seen Hogs work....but thanks for the heads up.
  6. Dude I am using pen and paper it just I have an old ass scanner that makes everything I draw pixilated and ugly. In the real, on paper and walls, my stuff (even the ballstached throwie) look nice, in my humble oppinion. I do the best I can to get the advice I need. Being as I'm not yet near the level I want to be. I appreciate you putting up with my lack of computer hardware. On the topic of my work what do you think i can do to improve the style and please be specific. Not asking you to do the work for me just for some pointers in the right direction.
  7. ok took your advice and changed the whole thing (especially the ballstache) what do you think now?
  8. oh right and hows this?
  9. balls for a moustashe?!?!? hahahhahhahhahaha :haha: thats classic!
  10. Ive been working on this throwie and i was wondering if i could get some feedback. Its a poor scan so bear with me. Thanks.
  11. I've given tags and throwies some thought and i dont think i will use the same name as my stencil art. I have a theme I've been working on and hopefully, soon i will hit the streets with it. Like i said before, thanks. I really took the wrong approach.
  12. Hey thanks for the advice i guess what i learned from this experiance is there is no style and that i should just go back to my sketchbook and mess around till i find something that im happy with. thanks for all your help, i appreciate it.
  13. ok i took calligraphy back in the day so i understand letter composition. i guess what i dont understand is what makes a good handstyle. i've looked at hundreds of them and i see all sorts of flourishes. so i guess you could say im a little lost.
  14. ok scrapped everything, haunted the handstyles posts, downloaded a couple fonts and this it what i came up with. basic, no shit, handstyle. Its a scan so bear with me: what do you think? personally i liked my "R" the way it was.
  15. I knew it was bad thats why i came here. You telling me I what I already knew was no help. I wanted advice on how to improve, not confermation that my tag was poor. So if you want to tell me how to improve my ears are open.
  16. dude that was harsh. I asked for help not beef. but just so you know i when i make a stencil i make another stencil to, for lack of a better word, tag it with; generally with a font to match it. so my bread will stay sliced.
  17. alright thanks for the help. i will remove all those things. on stencil revolution they suggested i "flare it out" i dont know what they mean or how to do that. If you could explain i would appreciate that. side note: i like you guys and im really feeling this site. i could see myself getting into traditional graffiti. oh yeh the name is evro.
