  1. As far as shooting photos in low light conditions with a point and shoot, I suggest one of two things:

turn the iso down as far as possible, but shoot with the highest resolution/filesize possible, turn the flash off, turn the timer on, and steady your camera with a tripod, on a rail, or a makeshift 30 rack holder.

I took this photo at night, with a little available light from the highway up above, with a crappy 3.1mp camera, on iso50, resting on the train tracks, at the highest resolution that camera had:

If you really need an insurance shot, or if a piece is so hot you just need to remember it, i suggest using the old trainwriter method of taking two angle shots with a flash and photoshopping them together.

I have a camera now with some sort of dumb stupid high iso setting, like, 3200 maybe? and I would never use it, it just makes things look weird. I'd rather take a darker photo and then edit it, rather than have a bunch of weird noise going on.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I can't write for shit, but I can give a monkey a something to write with and he can come up with better letters then some shit here. What makes me laugh is when their boys come on after and start "that is hot" or some other gay shit like that. I really do not want to name names because at least they are painting and that is better then nothing at all. I just wish they would stay home and come up with something better before they decide to paint it.

But getting up and being good are two different things. They should still paint as much as they can, but I still think that they should really work on doing something different with their letters.

  3. I hope when I'm married with a wife and kids I too can sit around and bitch on the internet about something I did a decade ago.

"back in my day, all the highway spots were uphill both ways in the snow, year round."

  4. The roof he had in htfd was redone well before his passing, and was done properly with no disrespect intended.

When i told one of the parties involved the other day that he had passed they were bummed and had nothing but respect for the individual's grind that he had put down.

any other words about it is muckraking, absolute rest in power to this man.

    -YL's.

  5. Once again, never understood why the main wall goes to dudes who get to paint in that city year round so they can paint a really nice production while a bunch of out of towners get squished onto small walls. Just seems pretentious.

  6. I'm not even hearing any of this "grown up man" talk.

Two dudes who are on the level, one of which just painted that wall with you a short time ago, drop some shit probably cause they were in the neighborhood after handling some REAL business, yeah it wasn't some over-rendered digital spaghetti "burner", but at least they covered up completely what they went over. So instead of acting like a real grown up man, and going through any of the appropriate channels that you could have gone through, ie myspace or getting in touch through a mutual crewmate, you act like a fucking baby, drop some lame shit with some too-tuff talk next to it, and then pop on the internet to post it and whine some more.

"Long live the king"? More like "God save the drama queen".
