anyone one know anything about hip hop olympics? I thought this was an event that went down in detroit (at hockey town? maybe) last year about this time? I heard a rumor it was happening again in Nov. this year.????

I'd be so ashamed to be a graff artist in detroit if this is even a small part of the scene. sorry but, seriously I've seen some amazing work come from detroit but this stuff is wacky. sorry peoples

wow I was just mentioning that when I visited detroit there seemed to be not alot of art that was not very creative.(compared to past visits ) thats all I didn't mean for people to start arguing and justifying themselves. I just thought I personally dident' see anything I really liked when I was there.(Although I'm positive I did not see the whole city and every spot) However there are alot of new writers up in alot of spots that I never seen before and I was liking that fact. And it does suck that younger kids are able To get up and out more financilly and transportation wise. makes me wish I was 16 with a lisense a allowance and my mommys mini van. Damn I could fit alot of paint in a mini van. I mean think about if everytime you skipped class in high school you were rocking out in some yard or on a train

yea fel is tight of course but I mean people aren't creative like black and white letters in generic typing fonts and cursive handstyles. Thats more of what I was talking about, not cf peoples

I wisH people in detroit painting were more creative its boring even if these cats are up all over the place its just not really real. I guess i'm not from there so I don't know hoW these gangstas are. I dont mean the old stuff or any artists I've been seeing for years, I mean the new stuff thats been poping up this summer especially.
