weather you are muslim christian or any other religion it dosnt matter who is right and who is wrong . why not accept the other mens faith. why do you dissmiss my belives as if they are wrong, only becasue i dont have the same belives as you. sure im not saying christians are perfect because the catholic church does alot of things that dont go with the word of god. but you have to remember that the pope and the preists are only the human REPRESENTATION of god on earth at least to the catholics. their mistakes dont make my god any less holy. or they are not a direct reflection of what god is or wants. same is said for the muslims. so Osama goes and kills in the name of allah... i belive thats not what allah wanted. but to other religions they see it as if osama was imposing allahs will on the west. mankind has always rellied on faith and this type of discussions wont go without hate and anger. why ? because for years religion is a mare excuse for war. if everybody jsut minded their own bizz and respected other peoples belives. maybe we would be a better race.

im dominican married to a cuban.
belive me has nothing to do with voodo or anything that has to do with invoking evil.
i dont practice it and i dont belive in santeria but i have researched about it.

Had you more of a broad understanding of theology you would know that all religions are derivative of one ancient religion, and all modern religions are interrelated beneath idiosyncratic, indigenous archetypes.

Theres no closed loop, Villian, I don't edit peoples posts or prevent people from discussing whatever they want to discuss. You definately wouldn't hear me talking about Santeria of sufism because none of that has anything to do with what God revealed to mankind.
I know a few muslims who grew up in families where they practiced santeria. It's a really crazy religion (if thats what youd call it) Basicallly, they invite demons (that they think are saints) into their homes through weird ceremonies involving Liquor and some person who channels these "spirits".
I also know many sufis personally and sufism is something altogether different. There are many levels of Sufism, the most extreme sufis being outside of the fold of Islam altogether. I apolagise if It seems like I am just using this as a platform to propogate Islam, I check this thread almost every day, and I usually have 1 or more post directed at me, so I respond to people and we have discussion.

daewoo i think you got santeria mixed with another type of religion.
santeria was a way for the slaves to hide their belives in the spanish islands in the caribean.
they had their saints obatala, yemaya, babaloo, ochun etc and what they did so the white catholics wouldnt bother them or prosecute them for witchcraft was change the names of the saints into catholic names like san lazaro is babaloo and yeamaya is santa barbara.
the salves ended up adopting the saints in the catholic church but they practiced rituals with shells and small time spells. and in places like cuba dominican republic and puerto rico people grow up beliving in this.
now brujeria. which invokes the evil spirits is not part of santeria and they do practice the rituals you talk about. this is more like what the hatians practice which is called voodo. also brazilians have some sort of brujeria. but its not to be comfused with santeria
and so you know they dont invite deamons. each saint has his pourpose and they are never invoked or called upon they are just representative of certain matter . for example yamaya which is santa barbara a cuban saint represents the water and the sea... and they are here to protect just like the catholics belive in the saints and angels as protectors

also i wanna make one thing clear i dont wanna put myself in theyr level and i know i dont belong there either. whats in the letter is what he said and i took it as in you can write it and rep the same fam but i wouldnt consider myself in theyr statue... ....now can we get back to the canvases please...i go thru this errtime i post something that says CIA and to tell you the truth this is the first time i post the letter up and it dosent make me feel any better....

i had emailed Duro a while back you know duro from CIA and TOP crew and i explained to him that when i started writing noone game me no rules yes a toy knows no rules so i told him i was throwing CIA up that if he minded .. he said it was ok that he didnt mind so i kept writing it ... actually he sounded happy that i was throwing it up... and belive me i had my share of heat about that to ... actually i dont get any respect but hey i paint not casue is a hobby i do it casue i like doing it ... and becasue you critizize me it wont make me stop ... how about some constructive criticizim!!!

this is some of my sketches not colored or nothing just letter wise . and to tell you the truth i dont think is that bad i seriously thought it was ok.. not the best but ok. so i figured i go into canvases. again like i said this is beginers shit and i have no former art training...
but thanks for the criticism i didnt like it but i guess ill jsut put in more effort on the next ones. and sorry but the tag aint gonna change. when i got it i wasnt looking for something original if you think about it all tags are pretty muck taken and i really liked the way i did a rebel when i first started. so i kept it and belive me iv had my share of heat cause of it ... dont think i dont understand what im saying but its jsut been to long to change it now you feel me.
