when i saw this earlier tonite at teh peeler, i thought franklin
had just physically killed quarry. ugh.
-
ah sweet. thanks for the tip on expired film dudes,
i got a hook up for some 690 styles i'm going to snafu tomorrow.
i'm excited.
-
okay, what the hell is that thing?
also, polaroids nerds: i have a shitty old one stop..please confirm,
i can use all 600 film correct? as in 690?

flonase is a tight phrase. i wanna be the guy that gets paid to make up
ridiculous names for medical products, i'd rock that shit.
-
if you wanna be real gentle about it you lean over and
suffocate them.

i think it's fresh. i'd rather look at some weird ass building that's actually
interesting to look at than the boring structures around here. especially
housing. that house is super fresh.
-
cool, if i'm ever down that way i'll surely pm you dudes, i'd love to go
take some shots.
-
okay, i just looked at the one shot of rage's again and it looks like the thing
has a super wide tank like bottom...sort of like that huge thing that moves the space shuttle to it's launch pad.
-
so what's the surrounding area like? is it just kind of plunked on the outskirts of town or is there small businesses and residential development nearby? how old is it, like 1920/30's era? i'm glad i didn't see any graff on it in those pictures, that kind of natural decay of such a brute should be left as is.
i'm thinking that thing must have some value to the film industry if anything.
in terms of design and architecture, that thing is fucked. whenever i see industrial fortresses like that i'm always astonished at how random, haphazard and precarious they look.
also, that thing would make a fucking spectacular transformer robot.
-
awesome, i especially like the 4th from the bottom. what exactly was the function
of this place?
-
wow rage, every single one of those is fucking primo.
that place looks like something out of madmax.

jbrsh, those 35mm holga's are looking nice...
i tried that in the summer and it turned out pretty lousy, looks
like you had much better luck. could've been that i used a roll
of flim that i found basically jammed in a sewer grill though..
-
i agree with all that bob, but i'm not analysing panopticons and panoptic theory
as a designer. i don't have a lot of time to explain right now...which it will take..maybe later...it's been awhile since i even thought about this shit....
regardless, it's good brain food.

yea...rem is so kool.
however, production is death.
