  4. yeah, i use tor. it's safe. sort of a proxy. more like an onion...which enables you to be more private. i ran some test with it and without it, seems my computer is pretty much in stealth mode at all times anyhow. there are some personal reasons why i had to take extra steps, though. here's a camera hack for that damned cvs video camera... now you can save the shit. http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/182/94/ Quoted post [/b] i checked out that link and did the hack i got my PalmIII sync cradle from froogle.com for like less then 10 dollars didnt take long to put together went to cvs and picked up the cam and it works great thats a nice lil hack

  6. hey casek or anyone where i can get a copy of the windows 2000 professional evaluation i cannot find it anywhere i went to microsoft too and you know how they are they stopped supporting everything but XP
  7. Longhorn's most useful Speed Boost feature 'leaked' as XP tweak: I found this Windows XP tip on the Internet. They claim it works, but I haven't tired it yet. If you want to test it yourself back-up first! " Microsoft claims Longhorn will be, faster! The only reason why its faster is they added a superfetch feature to the prefetcher. If you look at the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\Prefetcher you will notice in windows xp EnablePrefetcher = 3 and you will notice in windows longhorn EnableSuperfetch = 1 Well, guess what? You can put the EnableSuperfetch = 1 in windows xp and get the same speed. Microsoft just added a feature that was already there in xp." (At your own risk! - and back-up before you make changes.)
  8. come on common sense the only reason there is no spyware and or viruses is cause hackers dont want to waste there time in making any because only 14% of computer users use a MAC so theres no money for spyware or credit for the hackers who make a MAC virus in the same degree when they make one for PC
  9. i agree with the upgrades casek said sense you are just starting out. but if yer gonna be going into the graphics im not really sure if you want to stick with IBM compatible my option would be to go with a CRAPPLE lol no offence Apple people they are good machines....... lol before you go buy upgrades if you do so, be sure that the motherboard is able to take them.
  10. theres a website just for that http://www.futureproducers.com/ they got turtorials and a message board for problems and shit like that check it out
  11. hey do we got any gamers up in here?
  12. hmmm lets see so you download the torrent file and it shows up in the download folder correct? now have you checked if you have the same foder checked to have the downloaded files to go into the same folder as the torrents i dont know a damn thing about MACS but is there a search you can do to search for a filename that you downloaded and check if its there? im just speaking out my ass so this may look dumb lol :nope: :o

Cisco Interface (If your Setup page has a Cisco Logo) - Under the Setup Page: set the MTU size to 1472 > Save Settings > Continue If the same problem, decrease the size by 10 until better performance is achieved, else if the performance gets worse, stop decreasing the size and set the size back where it works better.
