I have a Fugi Track bike set up with some really good wheels (Surly track hubs and Sun ME14A rims) that I'm willing to part with for the right price. I love this bike, but I'm getting ready to move and I'm not sure I have the space for it. PM me if you're interested.

oh you're SO funny. haha You never call me either, so quit your nagging. I'm supposed to be getting airline tickets to come down for (y)our birthday and there abouts, so we can hang out then. I'm NOT gonna bring my bike this time, so I'll need you to re-assemble "Buzz Meeks" before I get there. That's right, you have to give back all my parts (I know you jacked some of 'em) t-shirts are good, try to make it on black or dark grey.

First things first. Your lockring is loose (that's the thing that holds your rear cog on) TIGHTEN THAT SHIT NOW!! If you don't you will continue to get that slop as the cog spins either way...and eventually the force of that will strip your lockring/hub thread and the lockring and cog will come off. It will most likely happen while you're trying to stop...probably coming down a huge hill and heading for a major intersection (that's what happened to me). You'll need a Spanner Wrench for this job. You can probably get one at your local bike shop if they don't suck. Park Tools makes one...you'll need the blue one (NOT red, yellow, or green. Yes, it matters) Also, if you skid a lot or really hard, invest in a good rear wheel...I use a Surly Track hub and Sun ME14A rims with 2.0 straight guage spokes. Now about those skids. The first thing you need to do i get good clipless pedals or metal toe clips (use nylon ones if you have to, but metal ones are much better at holding your foot). Secondly, remember, Push back with your strong foot/leg AND Pull up with your other (that's where the toe clips come in). The third thing (I'm guessing this is the reason for your problem), lean forward! Put your body weight closer to your front wheel and off of your rear wheel. The farther you lean, the longer you'll skid. This takes a little practice, as it throws off your ballance a little. Oh and Bull Horn style handlebars help. Good luck! http://www.trackbike.com/trackchamps/champs99/skid1.jpg'>

The bottom bracket (or crank, if it's three peice) is probably loose...it's and easy fix. or if he's sitting when this happens, the seat may be loose...or crappy:lol:

You get a day off?! punk, I'm still working 7 days a week, and 10 hour days. It's the big suck! Your welcome! haha...haven't been riding much. I got a unicycle, and have been kicking around on that in the basement. Yes, the basement...it's been raining for like the last month and a half, so I can't ride it outside. Plus I still suck at it.

no kidding, same thing here. I went to the Trexlertown Velo-swap last weekend. It was schway. There was so much cool stuff there. For all you fixed gear riders, I picked up a set of Surly "new" track hubs a couple of months ago, and I highly recomend them to anyone who beats the hell out of their wheels. I built mine up on a set of Sun ME14A's with DT Champ spokes (all black), and I haven't had any problems with them. Is anyone going to the National Cycle Courier Champs in Houston? I'll be there, but I don't know if I'm going to race.

I say a Cannondale track bike at my friends shop last night. They only want $500 dollars for it (pretty good for a bike that usually sells for $1000). Custom paint...mmmmmm

That's exactly what happened to me. HESH - they were the shitty hubs that came with my bike (Fuji stock hubs), and with the abuse I put my bike through, I should have seen this coming. Not to worry though, I have a set of Surly Track Hubs on order.

I'm here to tell you I'm having yet another shitty day. I swear sometimes my shitty days run into each other giving me shitty weeks. I think I'm in the middle of a shitty month. That's shitty. The lock-ring threads on my shitty track hub stripped, and now I can't ride (well I can ride, but I can't stop too fast). grrrr.
