  1. Boater finds brick of likely cocaine, snorts some, dies

A Merritt Island videographer died in a Miami hospital Thursday after he snorted an unknown substance -- possibly cocaine -- from a brick he found floating off the Middle Keys, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office says.

Thomas Swindal, 53, and his brother Kenneth were trolling in about 200 feet of water on Wednesday when, Detective Mark Maison said, they found what they believed to be a kilo of cocaine and brought it aboard the boat, tossing it into the bait well.

They kept on fishing and, Kenneth Swindal told detectives, he looked back a short time later and saw his brother open the package and ingest some of its contents.

He said about an hour and a half later, Thomas Swindal began to run around the boat, throw things in the water and even gaffed the engine, which fell off the boat and sank.

He continued acting strangely, running around with knives and pliers, so Kenneth Swindal threw all the sharp objects, as well as the package, off the boat.

Because they had no means of communication -- Thomas Swindal had tossed their cell phone off the boat -- and the boat lost its engine, the brothers climbed to the top of the boat and began signaling for help. A nearby vessel responded and called for help. The state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded and transported the two to shore, where they were met by paramedics.

Thomas Swindal was taken to Fishermen's Hospital and later transferred to South Miami Hospital, where he died Thursday. An autopsy is planned.

The Sheriff's Office says never, ever bring aboard your boat "any object [you] suspect to be contraband." And, the agency says, "it certainly is never safe to ingest any substance if you do not know what the substance is or what the potency of the substance might be."

And no idea how this is possible...

Not posting the whole story, cuz nobody cares.

    Soldier boy buying a 35 million $ G5

Most young adults would be content celebrating their 21st birthday with a trip to Las Vegas, but rap superstar Soulja Boy had a grander idea.

For his 21st birthday Thursday, the Atlanta rapper bought himself a $35 million dollar private jet, a rep from his management team reportedly told TMZ.

But apparently, the G5 jet needed some "Pretty Boy Swag" upgrades. According to reports, Soulja will be spending an additional $20 million dollars to add flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a dozen Italian leather seats, Brazilian hardwood cabinets, and travertine tiled flooring.

The restroom will be remolded and enlarged, and the aircraft will get a new custom paint job featuring his logo.

  2. if you don't remember gus has taken over all of the distribution in (i'm guessing) the south and south west, and in mexico since he had the cartel leader killed by the federales.... so as soon as they get done with a batch it is shipped out, at first he needed to meet a quota.. to make opening and running the lab worth while.. but now it's all about making money... and he is clearing a shitload, and has probably expanded so much where he will loose money if they even miss 1 cook...

    .

also, it was his house that walt was outside, gus took him there in season 3 when they first started cooking together... gus cooked him some south american meal or something... i forget what episode or i would refer you to it... but i kind of agree with you, i think gus has moved.. or has super beef security system / new guy and mike watching the area outside.

    Yeah I remember all that.

Just saying for him to take them to his real house, or to still be living in the same house, is not believable to me. And I'm surprised to hear that mike knows where he's staying. I'm sure the thought of mike and walt possibly partnering up has crossed gus' mind right? 3 steps ahead?....

  3. Fucked up- and unnecessary

Boogaard Charges Are ‘Just Plain Wrong,’ Family Says

    By JOHN BRANCH

MINNEAPOLIS — The family of the late Derek Boogaard came to the defense of Aaron Boogaard, who faces charges of drug distribution and tampering in connection with the fatal overdose of his brother, a former enforcer for the Minnesota Wild and Rangers.

Aaron Boogaard, 24, is accused of distributing at least one pain killer to Derek Boogaard the night before he was found dead May 13, and for flushing others before authorities arrived at the apartment they shared near downtown Minneapolis.

Medical examiners ruled Derek Boogaard’s death an accidental overdose of alcohol and oxycodone. He had been partying with Aaron and a few friends the night after returning from several weeks at a California substance-abuse rehabilitation center. He was 28.

On Friday, Michael Freeman, the Hennepin County attorney, said that Aaron Boogaard admitted to controlling some of Derek Boogaard’s stash of pain killers, “parceling” them when his brother asked. He said Aaron Boogaard supplied at least one pill before Derek Boogaard died.

“To insinuate that Aaron had anything remotely to do with Derek’s death, as Prosecutor Mike Freeman alluded to, is just plain wrong,” Ryan Boogaard, another brother, wrote in a statement released early Tuesday.

Aaron Boogaard, out on bond, made his first court appearance Monday, accompanied by his mother and sister. He was told that he is on probation, forbidden to drink alcohol or to take nonprescription drugs, and that he would be randomly drug tested. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 17.

Both Aaron and Derek Boogaard were draft picks of the Minnesota Wild. The 6-foot-8 Derek eventually reached the N.H.L. and became one of the most feared enforcers in the game. Last summer he signed a four-year, $6.5 million contract with the Rangers. Aaron, four years younger, has played in the minor leagues. The two lived together in Minneapolis during the summers.

“Our family is still grieving over the loss of Derek and this has affected nobody more than his summertime roommate, training partner, best friend and loving brother, Aaron,” Ryan Boogaard wrote.

The full text of the statement:

“Our family has been fairly mum on the recent arrest and subsequent charges laid against my younger brother, Aaron, so I would like to share a few words.

Although I cannot make specific comments as to proving or disproving the allegations against Aaron while the matter is before the court, I can say that our family fully supports him and we are disappointed in both the Minneapolis Police Department and Hennepin County Prosecution Office in their decision to prosecute him. Aaron had fully cooperated with their investigation and now, just over two months after losing his big brother and still grieving, he will have to endure very public legal proceedings.

Aaron has never sold prescribed and nonprescribed pain killers, never bought prescribed and nonprescribed pain killers and Aaron does not abuse prescribed and nonprescribed pain killers. The prosecution’s office did not disclose all the details surrounding the investigation but for me to go into more detail about this would go against my previous statement about not commenting to prove or disprove the allegations and Aaron gets his day in court so it can all come to fruition at that time.

In summary, there is more than what has been released to the media.

Aaron has never been arrested in the United States or Canada and, up until recently, Aaron has never been charged for any criminal offense.

As it is now widely known, Derek became addicted to pain killers after having shoulder surgery in 2009. This broke our family’s hearts to watch as Derek battled the disease. After two failed attempts in rehab, this was a fight that Derek never got up from.

Aaron never condoned what Derek did and had actually gone to California to support Derek in his latest rehab attempt.

To insinuate that Aaron had anything remotely to do with Derek’s death, as Prosecutor Mike Freeman alluded to, is just plain wrong but, again, I cannot comment on specifics as it is before the court.

Our family is still grieving over the loss of Derek and this has affected nobody more than his summertime roommate, training partner, best friend and loving brother, Aaron.

  4. idunno man. after nearly two hours of intranet struggle to get the fucking episode to play through

i was fucking MEHH. I am down for this show till the end regardless but C"MON SON! i'll start

with jesse and co. The niggas BACK on meth!? fail. walts packin heat! fail. skylars on some "I"M A BOSS" shit! FAIL.

Hanks buying endless amounts of rocks n minerals!lol? there are things that cannot be un-done happening. really not sure

where these writers are going. should be fucking interesting. "GO HOME WALTER!"

That shit with the "minerals" most likely is going to be relevant in some way. I don't think he just has a rock collecting hobby.

Another thing. How much would it cost to set up a lab like this?? And how many cooks have they done so far?? At this point the lab should have been paid off/for a long time ago. I found it hard to believe when gus said he invested so much money in the lab that they can't stop cooking etc... 200lbs a week at 40k a pound is what 8 million? Give or take on how much people are paying for quantity. I understand they would be losing a ton of money if production stopped, but don't think gus would be that concerned about it, as long as it kept going indefinitely, and he didn't get wrapped in the process of finding a new cook..

Another thing that crossed my mind was that the house walt went to eat at wasn't Gus' house. The "smart" guy that Gus is wouldn't make a mistake like inviting someone that could potentially harm him into his house where his family stays at. Thats pretty stupid and I'm not buying it.

  5. AWESOME

Marv-O is GAY. Don't give a fuck what anyone says... I could watch the original all day.

Eli lost the genetic lottery. WTF Dude got mad pizza face, kidney's are fucked- has to do dyalisis, a gimp leg, a jacked up grill, and who knows whatever else... His mom must have done lots of drugs when she was pregnant. Wouldn't be surprised if she was in "the ugliest prostitution ring ever."

And I hope he gets at least a little bit of dough from this. He's still better than MOST of the shit I hear on the radio nowadays/...

  6. I read somewhere else that Mike already killed Gus. Someones opinion- Would be interesting but don't think the producers would do that with such an important character. If hank ends up being Walts muscle that would be pretty cool- Show keeps getting better-

  7. i'm hyped.

also got my season tickets seats moved from the side of the end zone to the 35 yard line. (chi bears)

the best shit is the free agency frenzy will be about 4 weeks of signings versus 4 months. so i expect news and rumors and shit almost daily.

If you getting rid of any hit a ninj up!

  8. either way, ya can't just stab a dude in the chest for catching an ass whoopin.

i don't care how scared you are that two sizable black niggaz is layin the thump down hard.

    fists/chairs/shovels(unless it's a metal one) < stabbing a dude in the chest

What are you saying? If someone comes into where you work, starts beating you with a non metallic (?) weapon, and you have a knife in your pocket, that youre not going to use it????

Cmon dude. Who knows what would have happened if they didnt have the knife...

  9. Love it when all they do is get the suspect to admit he was at the crime scene. Once idiot admits it they say OK we'll be right back-get up and leave. They come back, charge him with first degree murder. Guy just sitting there like......

    wtfhappind.jpg

Have fun with that life sentence. Idiot
