Artcrimes got their name from this piece. the word "NOT' isnt to visible in the peice, at first glance one might think it says Art Krime

the girl who started that website went to Sacred Heart Univ. in Bpt/Ffld

it originally started as a school project on graffiti around CT/NY

I see why you might think that, but it's not true. Art Crimes was started by me, in Atlanta GA, while I was in school at Georgia Tech, in 1994, and I named it before it went online, before I ever saw any CT graffiti. This photo was shot by one of my family members in CT a few years into the project when she was in school there. The names of the crew and the website being similar is just a coincidence.
