  1. I see why you might think that, but it's not true. Art Crimes was started by me, in Atlanta GA, while I was in school at Georgia Tech, in 1994, and I named it before it went online, before I ever saw any CT graffiti. This photo was shot by one of my family members in CT a few years into the project when she was in school there. The names of the crew and the website being similar is just a coincidence.
  2. Yep, it's all true, get them while they last. Katch's book is fantastic. Thanks very much for your business. It's been a rough year for Art Crimes and every bit of dough goes toward keeping it online.
  3. A bunch of benefits for Diar are in the works. There is one April 11-12 in Long Beach CA. Donate your artwork and music please, for future events and a benefit CD. Find out more here: graffiti.org/bench/2008/04/diar-kyt-dtc-benefit-please-help.html
  4. A Miami TV producer contacted me just now with an urgent request for Hispanic, Spanish speaking graffiti artists today. Please contact him directly, ASAP if you're interested. I assume "urgent" means within a week, so if you see this after June 24, it's probably too late. He prefers people in Miami, but people in other places are encouraged to contact him as well. Susan art crimes PS: if you want to contact him by phone instead, email me at info@graffiti.org
  5. It came out with a bang in mid-December. I saw the premier near Elephant and Castle with a theater full of enthusiasts. It was a scream. Not sure whether they've released it on DVD yet, but keep an eye out for it. Maybe the next Fatbucks will have some info for us on that. I want to see an Os Gemeos DVD. You can catch their act at Deitch Projects in NYC this month. (Opens this Saturday March 12).
