I saw Stanhope this past November in Manhattan...one of the greatest shows I've ever seen, this one chick tried heckling him and for the rest of the show he tore this chick and everyone at her table a new asshole. At one point he went backstage so that the table would leave without him seeing (he was still telling jokes offstage) and came back to the stage and yells "what the fuck are you people still doing here!?" Then these other people from across the club started heckling that table and Stanhope in the middle goes "this is the first show I've ever done where there is heckling towards members of the audience" It was amazing.
A few friends of mine and I wound up drinking with him after the show, I vaguely remember due to getting hammered but one quote I remember was him yelling "the greenest thing you could do right now is get an abortion."

that Kim Peek documentary was pretty good. What was interesting was the part where the neuroscientists couldn't really figure out if Peek actually understands what he is talking about with emotion (or something) or if he just takes the knowledge he has literally and builds it all up book after book after book..
