    it might snow here this weekend! (las vegas) we go up in the mountains to see the snow. which is only a 40 minute drive. but sometimes we get lucky and have an inch or two in some parts of the valley. the best kind of snow is when its already on the ground and even though it's sunny it still pretty much stays put and doesnt melt. thats how it is up in the mountains... like a sunny ice box. but when its too cold and windy, fuck that. the fun stops.

    PS: if you like art, the galleries are on main and charelston. OH! and the bodies exibition is in town so go check that out at the tropicana.

     

    ALSO---- there are MANY free magazines/guides that will help you and tell you whats cracking and where to eat and what to see and what clubs to go to and etc. you can find them at any 7-11, SMITHS shopping center, vons, albertsons, etc.

     

    get: THE WEEKLY, 944, CITYLIFE. they will help you ALOT. and they are FREE

    if you look 21 then you could get away with sitting down at a slot machine.

     

    its going to be cold and windy so good luck. its gunna be 21 degrees here on saturday. i dont know about you but im not looking forward to it.

     

    best mexican food that is easily accesible(sp?) is ROBERTOS. they have 3 on every street or something.

     

    happy hour happy hour happy hour. alot of places on the strips will serve you 2.99 T-Bone Steaks and 99cent Coronas and shit. just look around, they're advertized everywhere. especially on the corner of tropicana and las vegas blvd. im not sure what hotel that is.. but its the northeast corner.

     

    if you want to get away from the strip (probably not) go check out mt charelston. its really pretty if you are into that kinda thing like snow and shit.

     

    don't drive on the strip during peak hours unless you want to be stuck in traffic for 45 mintues.

     

    watch the water show at bellagio at night

     

    CHEAP BUFFETS!

     

    if you want a really good buffet (that has sushi, mmmmmm) THE RIO buffet. i dont mind blowing 35 bucks for this buffet.

     

    get someone older than you to sign up for players cards, you get discounts in the casinos.

    i liked this movie a lot, but the ending.......... hmmmmmm.

     

    anyway, people have different veiws on a scary movie. satan, possessed lil girls, haunted houses, whatever. they don't phase me........ but shit like CHILDREN OF MEN scares me. a government that passes out suicide kits?? fucking sad. the movie was beautifully made. the pregnant girl could of had better acting. the "handheld" camera parts at the end were beautiful. the story and concept - good, the ending - ok. but just the film itself - very good.
