By running trains lines underground there is almost unlimited room for expansion, creating less rail traffic delays. Operators no longer need to slow for rail crossings or worry about pedestrians on the tracks. Underground rail lines are so plentiful they may even run under your own home! It's best to find areas very close to sea level where it is impossible to have underground tunnels or attempt to dig a hole somewhere till you can reach a tunnel.
