surround sound cd's

    ok, i know james taylor did one of the first cd's in 5.1 surround, then tool, but who else has an album out that is surround sound?

    i'm addicted to high quality, surround sound now...

    bonus question: these aren't just enhanced cd's, they're called what?

    dvd audio is the name for its, as far as music cd's i know theres a santana cd thats recorded in 7.1

    and sony has SACD, super sudio cd or something like that, but its not compatable with most dvd players, if you have the money for one and set set of highend speakers it sounds amazing.

    i think frank sinatra has a couple albums 7.1 also id look into that shit. i bet its an expiernece in its self!!

    do a search on yahoo for dvd audio, there are hundreds of cds out in this format now.
