So I downloaded a game. Two separate files which are .iso images(CD1 and CD2). i figured out how to extract them to my hard drive. easy peasy.

now, when i run the setup from the extracted files just like you would like if you had the actual cd, the first part runs just fine, but when it says 'Insert disc 2', i can't find a way to continue the setup.

I went so far as to burn the files from part 2 onto a cd and try to make it go when prompted, but no luck.

So, I ask you, what do I do now?

I think Nero has something called Image Drive which works like a virtual CD-ROM.... you might want to try that ...
