ceaso216 Posted May 8, 2003 Share Posted May 8, 2003 yo, dont get discouraged by the negative criticism, just use that to make your design stronger. i know how it is. i've been studying design/illustration for four years and believe me, i've heard a lot of negative things, but you have to realize that it is only said to help you. just dont stop trying. first of all, you have to establish a stronger hierarchy. i know it has been said already, but its seriously lacking. dont forget about the negative space it is just as important as the positive space. it creates harmony and it slows down the readers movement through the page. dont worry, a lot of designers do not see these things when they first start in the major. it took me a while too.
