Hated Pigeon
hmmmm......... Why do you need Spectra? That old shit used to block up all the time, I havent used it since 91! Youre better of getting some tasty molotow....
ill
Well... ... I need some colours to work on stencils that aren't tacky and as sticky as that shitty montana. Basically I need some quick drying matt paint in a range of colours, so any suggestions are welcome, plus also where I can get 'em in the UK. Ta!! Guest Fabo 2
I've never even heard of Spectra. The best thing I can suggest is Molotow.
Hated Pigeon
Well.... Molotow premium would be perfect for that! It's a wicked quick drying satin paint. Or Buntlack if you can find anywhere to rack it from! Try James at www.kingspaint@co.uk or www.thelayup.com or as a last resort www.graphotism.com! I haven't even seen it on shelves since about 91.. Didn't it have a female cap?
Hated Pigeon
Yeah, used to have a female that used to block up like a bitch! The chrome was really nice (when it worked!) very thick and bright, the blacks and white werent all that, but I never really used them because Smoothrite was still good back then! Guest imported_b0b
^^^ Pigeon, you just said the classic trackside combo there, Spectra fill with Smoothrite outline.. Ah for the '80's..
Hated Pigeon
Nostalgia..... ...is a wonderful thing, isnt it? I used to love smoothrite SO much, it was such a nice paint! Fuck Finnegans, Fuck LRT. Smoothy RIP.
Jetz
mix your own paint...
Hated Pigeon
Hmmm.... I used to mix paint about 10 years ago. But nowadays I can get Montana and Premium fairly cheaply and it comes in all the pretty colours I could ever hope for. For me theres really no point. Anyway nothing stained as good as a nice can of black smoothrite.
