what do you mean by "extended clips?" are there any specific tools that come to mind?

Im new to putting posters up in elevated spots, so i was curious about how you hang posters? ive just been sticking them to my roller and hope for the best, but i was wondering if there were any sort of wallpaper hangers/extendable clips i could use? Any other tips on hanging stuff would be appreciated
