Reader grades A to the volunteers of Asheville Greenworks for clearing graffiti, on short notice, in advance of President Obama and the first lady's visit. Several businesses on Charlotte Street had neglected to remove graffiti from walls or signs for a long time. City trash receptacles and benches were also marked. Greenworks saved the day by taking the initiative, and gave Asheville a much better image to the most important tourists in recent history. Now we can all enjoy the drive. bummer
