    ^ Haha I was just talking to my friend about this. There is a nice mini at a park near me and we are gunna shovel it out and bring some towels or something and dry it off a bit and then skate all day without being bothered by little skate kids.

    Except tit's finals week until Wednesday so it won't be tomorrow.

    Do you have a job?/ Hate it?

    Bring 1 Pickle to work everyday. Hide it. Leave a treasure map.

    When people stop looking for the "treasure" leave a 100 dollar bill instead of a pickle and then "find it" and tell everyone about it.

    They will start looking again.

    Continue with the pickles.

    Add a 1 or 5 every so often.

    Do this until you get bored with fucking with everybody and then just bring in a barrel one day and get there really really early when noone is in yet and then have a top (with holes) and have some note talking about the guy who was hiding pickles on top and when they start reading it jump out of the barrel in a flash of pickle juice and bits and proceed to throw as many pickles at people until you are kicked out.

    I am one of those few who don't get this ad/ haven't yet.

    Also after that big ad that spanned across the whole top of the screen there has just been nothing there for a while. Not even the old thing that was there that took up half of the screen while the other half was an ad. Weird.

    How poor is your family/ how much financial aid can you get?

    I am not paying for college right now. I have a couple of thousand bucks in loans...that's it.

    I'm like lower middle class I guess and my mom and dad are divorced and I have three brothers. They give me more money than the actual tuition bill and I get e check each semester for however much they go over by. Also you can get scholarships for basically anything. There are a ton of them just looking to be taken advantage of.

    Okay I have been asking everyone about this but what the fuck do we call this decade?

    This '00 you guys are all talking about. There was the 80s and the 90s what the hell do we call this ...the singledigits's. I don't know why this is so important to me. I just don't have a good way to refer to the time I'm living in.

    I've already pooped three times today and now I need to again and it's not fucking cool. I didn't even eat anything out of the ordinary.

     

    And yesterday I went to the fucking financial aid office at my school and last year I got financial aid in full with a very small amount being loans (like 3000) and now some dumb shit happened and in order for me to be in the same situation as last year I need to take fucking 13,000 in loans. This is fucking stupid. AND to top that off I have been dealing with fucking bullshit from this office since September. Every couple of weeks they say they have a new thing for me to fill out or I need to confirm some stupid fucking thing in order to get my financial aid and I was only off by 3000 dollars this year but for some fucking reason that means I have to pay an extra 10,000 in fucking loans. What the fuck. This all happened on Friday and I need to sort it out tomorrow. I think the lady who I talked to then didn't have a fucking clue what she was talking about so, I need to find someone with at least half a brain.

    And because of all of that ^ I haven't been able to sign up for new classes (which I shoulda been able to do for weeks) and because of that I will get SHIT classes that I don't even need/want to take in the spring AND I don't know my class schedule so I can't make a work schedule for the spring so, I am going to getting shitty fucking shifts all because people who's fucking job it is to help me get financial aid keep fucking up my shit.

    i remember liking "the difference engine" by william gibson and bruce sterling. i'm generally a fan of william gibson. also rudy rucker for cyberpunk type stuff.

     

    also "steamboy" is kind of a cool movie for that steam powered technology stuff.

     

    I picked up The Difference Engine recently and I like it so far. It was hard to get used to the language they used and I still have no fucking clue what some of the words are but I like it.

    And I saw steam boy on HBO or something in the middle of the night a couple of years ago and it is awesome.

    i thought this was gunna be about how gaddamn expensive winter coats are. it's absurd.

    and in response i was gunna say steal ski googles. those things are so expensive and they are small and half the time they are out of a case and not watched at all. sell em on ebay or something and then go and buy a nice coat.
