barry melrose is an idiot.hes the same guy that sat Stamkos on the bench for three quarters of the year last season saying he wasnt ready for the nhl. guy pops 51 goals this year with real icetime.
fuck the mullet, Ovechkin is the most exciting player in hockey. case closed.

I agree that this stuff is tired, but the song that encompasses all this shit was a typical Eminem single, AKA based on a formula for "funny yet vulgar" that worked for The Slim Shady LP and has been getting progressively more FAIL ever since...Hi My Name Is>The Real Slim Shady>Without Me>Something terrible off Encore>We Made You
Still, I think The Marshall Mathers LP was his best effort, and if Bizarre hadn't been featured would be a perfect 10.

1. thats why you dont turn to MTV or the radio for good hip hop music.
2. em has good diss tracks...no doubt..the one he made for benzino was one of the best he ever made.
3. i agree, id rather hear eminem over this new generation of ringtone rap.
all im saying is his word play is dope, and the whole multi-syllabic style is dope..he just needs to work on his content (rapping about popping pills and then raping your mom is really wack to me) and he needs to work on his hooks (even the hooks on his infinite album were straight up garbage and annoying).
the only time i ever watch mtv is when im with bitches.... i only brought up mtv cause u said ja rule was never shit in the rap game, and while he fucking sucks, saying that he wasnt big in the game would be like saying soulja boy isnt popular now (as much as he sucks as well)
but it is what it is....i always liked ems shit and ill continue to listen to it

i dont think id go as far as saying he was one of the biggest stars..he blew up from the verse he did with jay-z on the "can i get a fuck you" song...and he did the "holla holla...its murder" song and another song with ashanti....thats about it.
he wasnt much in the game, and he was getting clowned on for being a 2pac wannabe before his beef with eminem even started.
alls im sayin was before em shit on him you couldnt turn on mtv with out seein a ja rule/ashanti video...
i remember seein this one video clip where a reporter was askin fabolous and jada whose side they were takin on some beef that was goin on with em and they said they side with eminem no matter what cause they dont wanna be the subject of his next diss track
anyways my point being, real recognize real....ive heard so many old school heads like rakim talk about how the game needs more MCs like eminem and less of this ringtone rap bullshit

ja rules career wasnt going anywhere fast regardless of eminem.
as for freestyling, its funny you should say that...ive only heard ONE eminem real freestyle...the rest were ALL prewrittens...especially in the rap olympics.
*edit....oh and the real eminem freestyle sucked.
as much as ive always hated ja rule, he was actually one of the biggest stars at the time...
