    Kuma!

For reals. Hopefully he doesn't have a cameo in the sequel.
  3. Bump Scar. That dude's sick as fuck.
  4. Peeing out of fingernails is radical.
  5. AND... AND... AND TWIIIINNNNNNS!!!
  6. Hell yesss. Bump the homie 2Tones...
  7. It was good seein' everyone who went out to that Saber shit yesterday... It's nice to be reminded how writers act in real life after reading all the chatroom cyberthuggery that goes on in the threads here... Good shit.
  8. Re: Don't Call it Frisco I was down there this weekend for NACCS... Saw tons of Keep shit everywhere and hella Trees throws in Bayview. SF looking dope as ever. The city is as crushed as it was in the early two thou-wows... Good shit.
  9. Re: Don't Call it Frisco I was getting hella nostalgic today and started having old timey thoughts about Eklektic when it was at Rico's on Minna. That shit was mad fun back in the day. Used to be hella writers running through that spot every week...
  10. I see where you're coming from... but a few years ago Red Bull flew me out to Alabama to check out an event they were doing called Writer's Block where they rented several storage freights and had a grip of writers paint them; they sent them around the country with GPS systems so that people could check them out when they came to their country. The idea in itself was a bit corny, but Ces, Ket, Pose2, Totem, Tkid, Frame, Skar, Ken82 (and a few other NSF cats I can't remember), Goose, Aser, Erups and a few other kids came out to paint; Red Bull paid for a few plain tickets for Ces and Ket and Tkid, but other than that, kids drove from out of state to take part. And everyone had a good time... It was more or less a capitalist venture... but Redbull does these events instead of paying for print advertising... So is all of that wrong?
  11. @ Jason... The funny thing is that this hatred towards graff for commerce is being posted in an MSK thread. They got The Seventh Letter clothing line popping off, and ALL of em frequently do shows, and sell paintings. That said, almost every single one of them still do more illegal spots every year than you'll probably do in your whole life. Settle down... It's called making money off of your trade, not "selling out"; it's no different than if somebody made ashtrays for fun and sold a few of them on the side. It's a practice that predates this country, so you might wanna get used to it and rethink your logic.

    Kuma!

Back when Kuma was living in SF, I was driving home from a Converge show and while we were going up the I-80 on-ramp, I saw that fool climb up to balance on a 2 foot tall pole to start doing a fill-in. Kid is a sav. And who gives a fuck if Kuma's gay or not; That dude Heart is gay, and he's part of SF graff history.
  13. Koma and Nore were the worst thing to ever spend two weeks in SF.
