i love the smell of bacon at 2 in the morning. 5/0 why dont you concentrate on the car thefts and roberies that go unsolved instead of trying to stop graffiti and only make neighborhoods look safe.

Mini-wide marker on ebay for the collectors out there. 50$ though so its more expensive than usual........definitely goes into storage.

Probably leave them alone. I know id jump if someone came up behind me and started talking. I've had heros sneak up and say wtf are you doing you stupid kid!! which usually ends with them getting sprayed in the face and me running away as fast as my short asian legs will go.

the skul is the best of all of them. like geed said space it out a litte. maybe throw in some extensions and clean the lines up a little. If u dont alreadyhave a set, get some "pigment liner" pens. they make your outlines look very sharp and clean. and if you've got some $ to spend get some chartpak or prisma markers

Its better than my first atempt at a piece, but its still painfully sloppy.
One thing would be stop wit all the misplaced arrows. Use only 2 or 3 colors. get rid of those crappy stock tips. It was a good idea to not go and do that on a public spot though. keep practicing control on that board.

3M.com has info on their respirators. 3M handsdown makes the best respirators for painting. Get the 6000 series which is the most comfortable, easy to use/get parts for. Get the full assembly that says its for spraying paint. It should have a picture of some dood painting. But if anything get the ones with organic filters ie. the ones encased in plastic(not the pink round pad looking ones, those are for particals) i got mines new for 18$ but that was a crazy deal. expect to pay from 25-35$ for the full assembly. try ebay search for "respirator"

if the cap is clogged and the paint has been allowed to solidify its not gonna clear unless its a FAT FAT cap like a lvl. 5 or a silver. cause even if u get the gunk that comes loose out of the stem the shit that actaully clogs it is in the chamber thing. so its gotta be fat enough to blow out the bits of solid paint. as for paint thinner that will work effectively only if u do it right when the cap gets clogged. I bring a gatorade bottle w/ acetone and drop caps in when i finish using um or when they get stuck.
But hey look at it this way..if u have a shit load of stuck caps just string um up spray um chrome or gold and u gots ur self a blingn' necklace!!!:D

i finally found a shop that can get some mini wides!!! at 40$ a pop. only been out on production what 5 years and already that much.....

Im from hawaii but i can tell you this. Unless you personally know a writer he probably won't tell you where his local "graff shop" is. Because paint,caps,markers,etc.,etc. don't magicly appear on the racks when u go there. The best colors are usually gone within a few days on an order arrving with many of those cans on hold from pre orders. So dont bet on having such information handed to u on a platter. I was just at our shop on Oahu and was there as the new hardcore/alien inventory was being opened and between the 5 of us 57 cans were whipped of the racks in 10 minutes. Your friends best bet is to meet local writers and see if they can get him down to a shop.

If u are worried about cans fucking rattling dont handle them a lot before u leave, so the pigment and shit is still seperated. and 2 bring only the amount of paint u need and use all of it. Or if you're really really worried about cans rattling, quit. this thread is bullshit. my god. and if ur roming the streets at 2am the last thing to worry about is fucking cans rattling.

Jelser if you can get some gentitian violet that would be the best i can think of. I believe garvey is based from that so yeah. And as far as spending money on dyes and what not, I can only say that they have be one of the easiest things to get a 5 finger discount on because they are usually in some obscure coner of a store where no one goes. Rit dye will pass as a cell phone of ipod in ur pocket so try it in black and purple.

Hey can anyone give me the torrent link to The Future of Graffiti? I went down to the 2 local graff shops and they aint got the DVD and i really really want to watch it. I've searched high and low for a good torrent but to no avail.
And as for a good movie recommendation I'd say Stripes with Bill Muray if you want a good laugh.

for outlines and detail you can use your index and middle finger and for big areas use your thumb. I used to play an instrument with valves and got that gripmaster thing and i still use it cause it helps strenghten the fingers for painting.

DED outdoorsman is the best outside ink ive used(expensive though). But their inside-job is nothing to special considering how many hard staining "Hard to Buff" alcohol based ink are available. For insides i use my own recipe, mix of denatured alcohol, garvey LIKE ink from an old cashregister, genitian violet, RIT violet/black. pilot ink and dot3. Its a hardstainer and i just like the color violet.

actually it wouldn't. They have a set letter structure that limits what you can do with them. For changing the direction or shape of a character can turn it into a different character especially kanji. Graff is a western thing so its only right that they use english which is a lot easier than writing kanji graff(i've tried)
-G'D UP i couldn't tax any cans cause well that place was shoulder to shoulder with people. but i did get a bunch of markers for"FREE". gold, black and red from Tokyu Handz in Sunshine City. the vending machines were great for markers, shit everything was great for markers.

I was in Osaka/Tokyo in September and it seems like there is a small but growing graff presence there. Mostly tags and sticks. The throwups and oieces i saw were mostly around rivers, Saw neckface on the way to harajuku, Some grew called 23 did a lot of throwies around osaka. I was gonna buy a few cans while i was there but at 7$ a can and what looked like male valves i wasn't gonna be able to use the caps i brought along so i settled for a few tags in the Umeda shopping area and stickers where ever i went.
